Well. 0-100km/h it would be something 3.9 (Taycan) vs around 4.0 (911 cabrio), so quite similar.
100-200 it would be 8,35 vs around 10,2. So in the range of 100-200 there would more noticable difference (about 1.85s), but for us here max speed is 110 in summer time :) so 140-150 would be max...
Hi folks,
Due to unsolvable technical issues, I was forced to make a change. After quite a bit of thinking and consideration, decided to go to 911 for time being. Here are a few notes from my experience that could be useful.
Overall it was a superb experience all year long, immediate...
22tkm. No issues. 100% of time used leather racing gloves. Hate sweaty hands on leather wheel :) with thermally insulated windows, no problem in summer. Occasionally cleaning with microfiber cloth and warm water (same for seats). Almost no marks of use. Basic leather interrior.
Taycan is like a Swiss knife - fast, comfortable, cheap to run, winter friendly, exciting. It just seems that the dealers are unable to ramp up their skills to serve cars properly. So, it seems that I will be pushing to get a 911 Cabrio as a summer car and will look for another vehicle for...
Started with an electrical failure. Was brought in to dealer. They sort of figured that it should be a battery swap (with consulting with factory). Long awaited came battery. Swap was made to discover that battery was not the root cause, as the new battery and its controller got new errors aftet...
Hey,
My car is still with the dealer (4th month) with no ending in sight. I might have chance to flip for a 911. Never had it before, but visually it looks nice and performance wise seems quite comparable, probably slightly slower. Particular swap car could be base carerra cabrio. I rarely have...
Never had ras, completely fine without it. Now having a loaner with no heat protected windows, I miss my Taycan. And summer even haven’t started. Idk maybe taycan witout heat insulated windows is still better than 2022 A6 (my current loanet).
On 4s this would have been my priority list:
1) performance battery plus
2) leather interrior extended package
3) adaptive cruise control
4) heat and sound insulated windows
5) heated everything (wheel, seats etc).
6) night vision

Heh, was thinking about that same thing yesterday. Having 4s now, I would be more inclined towards turbo, as more power is always better than less. I would not consider Taycan a good fit for track anyway, so having more sporty suspension is simply unnecessary, whereas more power can be enjoyed...
Congrats on the new ride!
Curious to learn what the real world consumption will be on this variant - please share, as you learn it (initial 300-500miles will not be a good indicator).
During the first 5miles you will have the battery warming itself actively. After initial bite it will get better and range will stabilise. Its kind of the same when you hit the front window heating mode, estimated range drops while its on.
Ok, battery swap done, however, while assembling everything back together they noticed that there was a plug of some sort with some oxidation. New cable has been ordered and should arrive next Tue.
We have winter, salt, dirt for several months per year. Apparently quite a bit of dirt gets in. however, the dealer noted that it is normal and the actual battery is hermetically shielded within the scaffolding.
