I had a ‘22 RWD and agree with all your observations. The magic of the RWD w/steel is unparalleled by any car I know. My son, a BMW guy, had a big smile on his face in the first turn driving my car! There were many complications causing me to part with my car but will remember the good times I...
I have '22 RWD with 23K miles. Recently I have experienced hard downshifts coming to a stop in normal range. It's not every time, infact rare, but concerned it might be the start of something big. Has anyone experienced this problem where it developed into a motor/transmission replacement?
Wish I had Air Suspension on my RWD. Roads around here in Central Florida are terriable. Have a few problems with my car, tires will not stay balanced and have had a thumping sound @70MPH several times. Dealer can not fix my problems. Depreciation is outrageous. Never getting another Porsche!
Went out today to try to recreate the thumping experience, however, no joy. After some research the Tesla forum detailed many Tesla drivers having similar issues with the foam liner coming unglued and bunched up causing an unbalanced condition. Updates to follow.
I will try this test, I discovered the problem when driving at 70 MPH since that's the speed limit in the two areas of highway where the problem was experienced. Thanks for the reply, this is very helpful.
My 2022 RWD with, madei in Germany, Goodyear 21" tires makes a sound like the tires have a flat spot @ 70 MPH. The sound is heard on several different stretches of a major highway here in Central Fl. The stretches of blacktop are fairly new and do not appear to have any visual faults. The...
We are seniors and do a 1K mile road trip several times a year to see the kids & grands. The longest leg we plan is 180 miles, where we can hardly wait to get out of the car and take a walk. The other legs are in the 120-140 mile range. This new car would be done charging long before we would...
It's easy to look like a spectical with just the RWD. If my Tesla stock ever goes to the moon like the bulls say it will there will be a GTS in my garage too.
Wish Tesla would announce the date to allow us to use their SuC Network. There will be tons of adapters on the market soon. Magic Dock will charge any car so generic adapters will probably work. I'm on the east coast where there is just a jungle of TSuC all over the place. The only problem is...
My '22 Taycan is in for rattles when hitting a bump. Started with drivers side and later passenger side as well. Sounded like something to do with the glass. Dealer identified the window actuators as the problem. Waiting to get the car back. Hope this cures the noise.
