My RWD does not have audiable warnings for anything [except the frogy sound for lane departure and parking] and I don't remember seeing an option in the settings anywhere for them. My Audi etron does not audio response either. I would agree that would be a nice option. Would also like to see...
Because there is rarely an alternate charger close by it’s a good idea to check PlugShare, vendor website or even call the charger vendor to make sure the planned chargers are up and available on your route.
I got the WNA5 update several days ago. First thing I noticed was a loss of range on the GOM. Next day charged the car to 100% for a 180 mile trip and the car indicated 216 miles of range. Normally I get 250 miles of range when charging to 100%.
Drove the 182 mile trip and the car indicated 68...
This article says 2021 should have plug and charge but thought I read one charger port didn't support PnC. https://www.engadget.com/porsche-taycan-2021-030224656.html.
It will be interesting to see what the depreciation will be for the Taycan over the next few years. With the production low and demand high it seems using a bank loan may be more favorable in terms of total cost for the next few years.
Adding to the above, the car dictates the charging power not the charger, of course the charger must be working properly. On YouTube there are several good videos detailing the Taycan charging curve. Here is one:
Yes, the EA app does not have a "MY '22" choice yet. Doesn't matter actually, make sure you have a Porsche internet Login and the dealer sets up you car so you can login to the Porsche network on your car PCM dash panel. There is a green overhead LED light [above the rear view mirror] that...
May want to try this 8 charger site:
Walk at Highwoods Preserve
18001 Highwoods Preserve Parkway, Tampa, Florida 33647
You should have no issues with plug & charge.
post back if still having issues.
Charging speeds are dimished when the battery is cold. Fortunately Porsche has included a heat/cool feature that works on the cabin & battery and can be operated from the app. Taycan is one of the few EVs that displays the battery temperature. If the charging speed is slow the battery...
This is my third car with HUD and I like seeing the speed limit without looking away from the road. Wish it included blind spot indicators and side mirror view when the turn signals are on.
" Again, my simple math. 2834 miles and 18 charging stops (19 segments) = an average of 149 miles per segment. 2:26 total charging time = 8.11 minutes per charge session. Can these cars add 149 miles to the battery in 8 minutes at a 350kw charger? "
@ 21 minutes into this video Tom discusses...
I found my '22 Taycan RWD on this website: https://finder.porsche.com/us/en-US/search?model=taycan
Pull down the options on the left and see the cars on the boat or in a dealership.
Good luck.

This is the gold brick standard for planning an EV road trip. This software can be run realtime in Apple Carplay.
I've been driving electric for two years and have charged after dark witout any issues what so ever despite the looks of things. However, when I was driving gas I've been approached numerous times by young people [not black] pan-handling for cash here in Central Florida at well lite stations...
Download the EVgo app to your phone to check realtime status on chargers. I have the E.A. and several other charger brands on my phone. Unfortunately, the CCS public charger network is not very reliable yet and many times there are no backup chargers nearby, as you have found.
PlugShare can...
‘22 RWD 3700 miles normal mode, was coming to a stop and decided I needed to move closer to the car in front of me. Had the “A” recouperation active. As I let off the brake pedal and applied accelerator pedal I felt a strong clunk in the rear end. The radio was playing loud so don’t know if...
