When the car is set up by your dealer, with Porsche NA and there is a green light by the rear view mirror you should be all set with E.A. charging. Just plug in and the charger should start after a brief period to log your car into the sytem.

One more tip, it's best to hit the stop button on the charger if ending the session when the charger is still dispensing juice, rather than depressing the buton on the Taycan charge port initially to stop the session.

We have similar problems with the Audi etron, locked car is locked connector. I was charging one day next to a Taycan when the driver complained he could not get the charger connector out of the car. I said unlock the car, which he did, and the charger connector was released.
