My 2020 4S MSRP $149k, loaner 2020 4S MSRP $113k. My opinion on what options are really important after driving a stripper 4S for a few days.

The Olea leather also covers the seat backs and is slightly more supple than the full leather. I had the Olea and now have the full leather. I am just as happy with the full leather as I was the Olea. To me, there is just not that much difference between the two options. I prefer the color...

Collect from dealer or deliver to home?

I live four hours from the dealership and was offered delivery to my home via covered transport. I chose to go pick it up for a refresher on the technology and such. Glad I did. They helped me sort out a problem with the app among other issues. I‘m still working from home, so it was an added...

    Ice Grey Wheel Paint

I have ice grey painted Mission E wheels and love them. My previous Taycan didn’t and I have no regrets getting the painted wheels on this one.

    ICE GREY Taycan Club

Yes, to both. The Ice Grey with Red/Black interior really pops. My previous colors (Volcano/Black Olea) were conservatively nice, but lacked the flare that I enjoy with this one. Also the added power, ceramic composite brakes, HUD, carbon fiber external and interior bits, puddle lights, Mission...

Which extras you wouldn't order again

I rarely have a passenger and when I do, the passenger display isn’t used. The Taycan is my daily driver. Family trips are taken in our other vehicle.

What Colour Did you go for?

My Volcano grey is hard to keep clean. I thought it would be easier to keep clean than black, but it’s proven to be just as difficult for me. I’m considering a lighter color for my next one.

How many miles on your Taycan?

2800 trouble-free miles since September. I would drive more, but have been working from home.

Swapped 2020 Volcano Grey for 2021 White

I also have a 2020 Volcano grey and will likely get a white Taycan next time around. I don’t usually like white cars, but the color looks great on the Taycan.

How would you spec differently next time?

I love my car, but if I were to do it over, I’d do the following: Carrara white instead of Volcano grey Add sport design package in carbon fiber (I have the carbon fiber aeroblade wheels) Add exterior mirror upper trim in carbon fiber Delete passenger display (my passengers never use it)...

Buying from an out of state/region dealership

I live in Indiana, but purchased my 911 in Illinois and Taycan in Ohio. the out-of-state dealerships handled the car registrations and made everything as easy as possible. I’ve had no issues with servicing the vehicles locally.
