Out of frustration, for my last two EA charging sessions, I’ve not used an app and have made card payment rather than go through the hassle and time consumption of calling EA because of continued app issues. Yes, I’m paying for what supposedly is free, but it’s hassle free this way.
I was also looking for an EV that would provide or surpass the comfort and performance of my previous S classes, including the AMG S class. I found it!
I made the decision a year or so ago to trade my DD for an EV, but I wanted a car I would enjoy as much as the 911, AMG, and V12 cars I’ve owned. The Taycan checked all the boxes and I’m thrilled with it. I have no desire for another ICE vehicle.
There was an individual dedicated to assisting customers with Taycan where I bought my car. My SA turned me over to him and he was fantastic in providing an orientation, helping me set everything up, and answering all my questions. He spent well over a couple of hours with me.

Yesterday I tried to order carbon fiber mirrors for my car from my local dealer. Although they are in the parts catalogue, the mirrors aren’t available yet. I have the body color mirrors, but want the carbon fiber ones. I think they’ll look great with my carbon fiber aeroblade wheels.
