Suspension has 3 settings - all good for all types of scenarios. I wouldn't change anything either as it's good the way it is for me (i.e. lowering beyond factory lowest setting)

Risk of damage? My RWD has air suspension and wouldn't want the car without it. I always drive it in the lowest setting. It's not too low and fine as long as you don't run into things or go into parking lot at 50mph. Good thing is if one needs extra height the air has a great lifted mode - I use...

FWIW I have my charger mounted on the garage wall and have never had an overheat issues even in S. Florida summer. It is mounted with the supplied bracket - NOT inside a dock.

Can always have them painted or wrapped. There was a CXX race-tex backed set on eBay a while back.

In darker light or garage shine a paint light on the panels to expose damage. Works well for lighter colored vehicles. Some of the damage in my cars' PPF is minor where the divots and sandblast-effect spots are more noticeable. Plastic side skirts on the Taycan already have some "sandblasted"...

Do the flashlight test. Guaranteed damage - albeit small.
