FWIW I would do PPF instead of just coating the paint. You'll thank me after some time/mileage when you paint has zero chips. After ~3000 miles the Taycan PPF (Xpel) has divots/damage in the following areas:
- front bumper lower edge & sides
- rear door hip areas (both)
- hood
- R fender (1...
Something isn't right. The BOSE is light years better than the base. No way I'd own this car without at least BOSE. I have owned Burmester is a Panamera and it is incredible. Couldn't justify the cost for Burmester in RWD Taycan.
Had a Model 3 as well. I loved not having to use a key or anything else to use the car. Walk up: car unlocks. Get in and drive. Get out and walk away: car shuts down and locks. Phone-as-key is great.
Porsche advised they won't offer soft close due to additional weight in an already heavy car. If it was available I would've gotten it. Love the feature in the Cayenne GTS.
Not a gimmick. Not only does the air suspension raise for those diving in heavy snow, but it helps me when washing the car. It allows more access to the wheels wells for cleaning. In the lowest setting, it looks great and helps with efficiency at higher speeds.
My cars are custom wrapped and yes 6K is a fair price for bulk, no template, install. Be careful I had bad luck with STEK so went back to Xpel with the Taycan.
As cool as it may be it goes against everything Colin Chapman stood for. I get the SUV thing but they should stick to what they do best - drivers sports cars.
