The fading your experiencing after 45mph is most likeyl because the transmission is shifting into second gear. My first gear whine is still apparent even with a replacement drive unit. I'm not happy. :mad:

See the other thread regarding overheating. Only DC charging excessively may degrade battery over the long term. Charge at any speed you want AC - the car will only accept so much AC power.

FWIW my '21 was down for 9 weeks for a drive unit replacement. Don't be so quick to throw out the Lemon thing. Lemon law will not apply to 1 service visit providing it's repaired correctly. I didn't care about my down nearly as much as someone else would since I was given a loaner Taycan. That...

FWIW I have 2 recalls getting taken care of in a couple weeks. Dealer advised to bring charger with me for one of the recalls. Doubt it will fix the overheat issue on 100% setting - fingers crossed. ('21 RWD)
