Low is the lowest mode, lowered is the 2nd to last/lowest option. IMO, low is the best drive mode for handling, efficiency and looks. Unless the roads are really bad where you live, low is the best.
I drive in low everywhere and raise it to high for bad dips. I rarely raise it for speed bumps unless they are monsters. I only use gravel mode on bad/rocky dirt roads. So far, so good.
That is the PDCC graphic, showing the anti-roll illustration. When turning the blue bars on either side move up to show the amount of counter balance needed.
Solito negotium.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Americans will always make inferior cars.
We are good at making money, weapons and beautiful women and I'm OK with that.
It blows my mind that the German engineers haven't figured out to fix the center console. Due to the panhandle shape and hinges in the rear of the console, you almost need octopus arms to get anything out, not to mention plug a usb-c in. Rotating the hinges to the passenger side would definitely...
The plaid to Taycan comparison hasn't been covered much on this forum (that I've seen). Thanks for your thoughts.
A good friend of mine has a plaid and I have driven it. My summary was "2 cars that are exactly the same, only totally different."
After we chased each through the mountains like a...
Or do what I did...
Drink a bottle of wine, play around on the configurator until goosebumps appear, submit to dealer and keep drinking wine until the car appears.
Zero regrets.
Judging by the other cars you own, you like style and drivability. In my opinion it's a no-brainer, Taycan all day, everyday. The 2 cars are not even comparable when it comes to looks/style and ride quality.
The Taycan does have its draw backs but those don't seem to be an issue for you.
I have to agree.
My preferred mode is sport, low chassis, no regen, no sound. So I set that in the individual mode but every time I begin the drive I have to run through sport and sport+ mode on the chrono dial. Very annoying cuz the regen kicks on in sport mode (then off), then the sound kicks...
The 'Mile High Club' I'm referring to is much more exciting than driving through Denver, which can be exciting but for all the wrong reasons. Normally, an airplane and a partner are needed and if you have BTDT... much respect?
I reckon you could do it in a Taycan, driving through Denver but...
No worries, I'm not easily offended. Good try though.
For people that are not on vacation, that would rather read a 60page ins doc looking for ambiguous language on what is considered glass and what isn't than ask the expert, that didn't drop out of school in the 7th grade... then yes, you make...
Of course.
Being that it's Saturday and he's probably drunk on a golf course, I didn't expect much more. He will verify on Monday and confirm with me, if is otherwise I will correct my post.
Quote straight from my insurance agent (who also is one of my best friends, hence informality):
"Pretty sure you have a zero comp which means pretty much everything other than a collision is covered at no cost, vandalism, hail or windows."
So there may be options that do cover it.
If you don't mind me asking: do you have glass coverage through your insurance comp?
I do and it's been amazing. Complete windshields replacement at no cost except the deductible ($10 a month (I think)) but I've never considered if it would cover the glass roof as well. I think I'll check...
