I know it is not convenient or easy to remember but I manually preheat the car 5-10min before departure and then manually turn off the preheat as soon as I get into the car.
What's awesome is when you haven't been in the car for hours (or days) and you get the notification that 'conditioning of...
This is great news, there has got to be a liquor store within 3km of you and this is going to take a lot of wine to get this fixed.
I wonder if charging it to 100% caused this problem...?
This sounds like a 3rd bottle idea, frankly it's brilliant and if all goes well it will solve all of your problems, not just battery related. Keep up the good work and if you get tired of your day job, I would recommend being a life coach.?
I mainly drive in sport mode to eliminate the studder from normal mode when you punch it. Suspension is always in sport. Otherwise I don't notice much difference.
Great write-up.
Our journey's have a lot in common (cat included).
That 1st pic of the Pano with the hazy countryside in the background is spectacular.
That is hilarious and so sad at the same time.
I once left a carton of milk in the back of my truck for weeks, the smell went away when the truck went away.
Have a professional do it and don't sweat the cost. There is no price too steep to keep from hating yourself every time you enter the car...
Thanks for that write-up.
I currently have a 4S with the Continental Pro contacts and would like to change them out but ran into the same problem you did, no options. I only have 5k miles on the current set so didn't push the issue but will have to at some point and I wanted to get the Pilot...
After 3 months of ownership I had some light body work done. The body shop had to run diagnostics for their work and found 62 cleared faults, faults I was never aware of. I have had 3 minor (noticeable) faults that all cleared after powering off and locking car. The worst of those was recently...
I have done a bit of "off-roading" and field driving but keep it slow to avoid any damage. That's why I wanted Crazymind to shred that field, cuz I'm too scared. My cabin road is pretty rough and the car handles it all perfectly. I just have to avoid dropping the under carriage on any big rocks.
I would have rather seen the video of you using the hay bails as cones and shredding that field... but my imagination will have to do.
The car does beg to be pictured.
My first few drives in a tesla with the one peddle drive mode made me queasy and I never use the recoup in the taycan for that reason.
Was the car in the one peddle drive mode?
Motion sickness usually goes away when the motion goes away, def not lasting into the next day...
First of all, I can't wait to see the final product. I shared many of your dilemmas when I was spec'ing mine. I ended up checking all the performance boxes and went base on interior and exterior (wanted ice grey, went dolomite instead).
The only thing I would do different is the sport sound, the...
Purely anecdotal.
I went on a long mountain drive on Sunday and was really cutting close to make it home without charging. The nav directed me to a charging station 5 miles from my home to charge for 10min. I didn't like that option thought I could make it, so I shut down the nav and my range...
