When coming of the break pedal, during normal driving, I sometimes hear a dull clunking sound as if the pedal has hit on something else metal when it goes back up.
It’s subtle, but since the car is so quiet, I have made it out a few times over the last few days.
Has anyone else experienced...
Is that square thing your tracking fob?
I was given these giant ones (like the car key but a little smaller)...which, most annoyingly, doesn’t have a keyring hole anywhere on it, to latch it on to.
This one seems far more manageable.
Everything that was factory painted in jet black was wrapped in matte satin clear PPF, and every exterior carbon trim (front apron, side mirrors, side skirting, alloys, etc) was wrapped in shiny clear PPF.
I can’t remember if the black plastic bits were done (such as the centre of the front...
Thank you. That was the idea. Even got the carbon bits PPF in shiny clear for extra highlight. Just have to make sure I park at least a foot from the curb from now on. ?
Interested to know if anyone has found any good looking solutions to attaching the tracking fob to a keyring?
Would like to attach these to my house keys (separate from the car key of course).
Thanks.
You know the annoying thing is that I specced no license plate plinth to be installed on it. I was going to go the decal route.

Clear wrap that “satinizes” the finish.
In my case, I got them to put a shiny clear version of the wrap on my carbon bits for highlighting purposes. (They even did the alloys).
The longest two weeks of my life, in between taking delivery of the car and finally getting it back from the PPF place today.
Now to actually drive the beast. ?
Hi All.
A friend of mine received his Taycan today, specced with Privacy Glass.
While the rear sidewindows are dark tinted, the rear screen (rear windscreen) appears to be either untinted, or at the very least, much less tinted by comparison.
Is this intentional because of visibility laws...
I am in the same boat as some of you, and would appreciate advice.
With the car being leased by a company, but registering myself as the keeper (v5c), does this make business car insurance on the car cheaper, or allow you to get personal car insurance on a company car?
Thanks for any help.
I was told the same thing by my dealer when placing my order. Had the option of waiting a couple of weeks and getting the 22kW model in Jan. The only issue here, is that by then, the UK may be out of the EU without a deal, and if that is the case, the price of the car would rise by at least 10%...
