I was unsuccessful with two separate tries at a 350KW EA in Washington State on the free Porsche Charging America app over tee weekend. It was a brick. EA worked on my credit card.

Prior to picking up my 4S today I verified that all the latest WLG2 software updates had been completed. They also said that it had an updated 12V battery. Hope that’s true!

Picked mine up this evening, and already burned 60 miles. Having fun. Better than expected!

In Washington State, a vehicle out of service for a cumulative of 30 days triggers the state’s Lemon Law. Virginia probably has a similar law, so everyone knows an October fix clearly isn’t acceptable. Hope Porsche gets you back on the road quickly.

It arrived on the Glovis Sunrise last Thursday at the Port of Benicia, near San Francisco. Should have been, or will be soon, loaded on a truck with some other Pacific Northwest new Taycan owners. Hope to have it soon! On the allocation list in July of 2018, with order November 2019.

Suncoast Porsche has clear side markers back in stock. My order from 4 weeks ago was shipped Friday. I’ll be ready when I pick up my 4S within the next week or so.

Know what Amp Hours the Taycan 12V is rated and are you using a 5, 10, or 20 amp trickle charger? Louv has a 10 amp. Thanks

OK! Crew is done test driving and the Sunrise has past the Golden Gate Bridge, arriving in Benicia 3:45 AM Thursday morning. NoCal and PNW drivers will see their Taycan’s soon.

If they haven’t yet been offloaded, the Glovis Sunrise crew has our keys, some spare time, and lots of open decks after offloading in San Diego. We’ll have to compare our mileage when we get them!

With this kind of manufacturing defect, Porsche’s CEO should be airfreighting several pallets of 12V to Porsche USA. In addition to range anxiety, not comforting to hear about the 12V to start the long summer road trip.
