Revive can do scuffs like this.
https://revive-uk.com/
Certainly the one in the Rotherham area can at least. It may not be perfect but you will barely be able to see it when done. I had a similar scuff on a 911 Turbo S wheel and I just could not tell where it was repaired without getting down...
When I ordered there was a fair amount of confusion over the charging situation.. for example the 22kw charging was dumped and I didn't know for some time. I just ticked the box, more or less, just in case. I am pretty certain it wasn't and isn't necessary.
Fair enough, I think I misunderstood you. As I mentioned earlier in this thread. Audi A6s had a similar problem and stuck an ugly lump of plastic on top until they eventually did a full redesign. I suspect Porsche just didn't allow for the HUD and have come up with (IMO) a smooth but bulky...
I'm not sure quite what you mean by this. The HUD works from a CRT or (probably more recently) an LCD projector (either way a "picture generating unit") which beams light through lenses and mirrors to a reflective coating on the windscreen. The only part that needs to be on the surface of the...
I think the wheels with the exterior paint colour looked fantastic. The paint job was fully factory, great finish, colour looked identical to the car colour. I do like full black wheels but felt the two colours added to the different kind of look the Taycan has.
Actually I should have added that it was charged to 85% before I set off. so that would be 200miles plus 15% in theory. You are quite correct, the Taycan does beg for it to be "driven". The first half of the journey was driven in a "spirited" way but not too hard. I was pretty careful after I...
For me personally.. it looks too much like it is stuck on top of the original body (which it obviously is) and too crazy. Perhaps their "restrained" version will be more my thing :)
As Felix said it matters more to Turbo S owners because the range is already reduced. Also.. in the UK fast chargers are pretty damned rare! I think there are currently only 3 or 4.
That's an interesting graph! As far as whether it is acceptable to void a warranty because you haven't followed...
Porsche recommend an 85% maximum charge to prolong the life of the batteries. They don't suggest anywhere that you have to do this so if the batteries fall out of manufacturers reasonable tolerances within the warranty period they will not be able to use the fact that you always charged to 100%...
I think your 4S Performance is also a kind sweet spot with these. More range, still powerful and a more competitive price than the Turbo and the Turbo S. Plus all the Taycans look almost the same unlike a 911 Turbo S vs a C4 or C2 which has some extra bits and bobs.
Almost certainly a silcone based lubricant. The main problem with using these in my past experience is that the noise can sometimes come back as the lubricant dries. A lot easier than pulling a door card/trim off and putting felt in though :)
3 years is quite awhile. They will be working hard to compete with Tesla and other car manufacturers for expected performance and range and other features three years down the road. I doubt we will be seeing truly enormous improvements but there are several technologies that may appear in that...
Thanks ron, I didn't think about using voice control. That's good to know.
Since writing the post I watched the video gogs did and followed it but my car seems to have a mind of it's own (or I screwed up). I've also read more about the 85% charge. It is just one of those things I didn't know...
I've been having problems from day one with the charging. I had one day when it charged to 85% but mostly the charge was over 85%.
I decided to start again. I set a timer to precool to 20 deg at 7:45am. I set the general profile to "MIN" 85%, preferred charge times 23:00 to 7:00 and left my...
