Just had an update from my dealer. The car is still in Emden but he is confident that it will be shipped this week and we are still on for April delivery. The car has sat at Emden a lot longer than I expected

26th at Emden is the same as mine. Could possibly have arrived yesterday at Sheerness on the Malacca Highway - that’s what I’m telling myself anyway! Emailed the dealer to ask but he’s off today :-(

That matches up to the fact I’ve been awaiting shipping and yet to receive any emails. So agree any addition of the car onto Porsche Connect or confirmation of VIN means the car is here. sounds like you guys will have yours soon!

Unfortunately not - although I did notice that the Malacca Highway did a trip to Grimsby approximately the same time my cousin expected his car to arrive - possibly that vessel but I’ve not seen it go there since, must be others

Just to add some further dates and info here. My build was completed week of 22nd March. I was told earlier this week that my car was awaiting a vessel to sheerness, I’m hoping it’s on the carrier that arrives tomorrow in Sheerness but unsure and have no firm date for delivery. A family member...

I hope that that delivery date is the same for me - even though I’m also waiting to load on a vessel. Fingers crossed. Let’s see if the current Mallaca Highway on its way to Sheerness has all of our cars onboard!

Same as the above, there is a little guess work involved on my side using the bits of info I receive from the dealer. I received an update this morning that mine is still in Emden awating a vessel to Sheerness. I’m hoping its loaded onto the same as @torx in which case it will arrive by the end...

I hope so! I think my dealer maybe getting an email from me tomorrow morning for an update :-)

Wow that’s a long delay. I’ve been keeping an obsessively close eye on the Malacca Highway that seems to carry the cars over to Sheerness. Looks like they are operating very frequently. I’m hoping that I have an email any day now from the dealer to say my car is in the UK at least!

Hey! I’m new to this forum and eagerly awaiting delivery of my Taycan. I was told that production was completed ‘this week’. Does anyone have any experience to how long after production a car is loaded onto a ship? Mine will be heading to Sheerness from what I can tell (Porsche Mayfair). Thanks!
