This looks the best solution. A few q’s. What is the maximum height? Does it sit on the floor or as this looks embedded in the floor? What’s the make and approx cost?
I think this is true, there has to be a reason why Porsche customers are fiercely loyal. There’s just not much out there competing at that price in terms of product and service. It doesn’t mean Porsche can charge what they like and obviously in Uk at least they are seeing slow sales...
How about Cayman ev in 2025? I know the 911 is the Porsche flagship but the Cayman seems to me to be the drivers Porsche now. More nimble and agile. So a Cayman ev well executed might be at the top of my list. We’ll see.
Those of us who like Porsches ultimately should like driving and cars that handle better than most cars on real roads, not the track. (Though Porsche do good tracks cars too.). In nearly every sector where Porsche choose to market vehicles they are the best handling cars and probably the best...
It’s obvious that demand for a 911 ev would be through the roof, by all means keep churning out ICE versions too there will be a demand but an ev will be quicker handle better and so cheap to run - frankly it will be irresistible for Porsche to maje
I agree I love the mamba green Taycan and it does get a lot of comments all positive so far and from all ages and sexes but then it is a great looking car. I’ve had 911’s and only had a few comments nothing like the Taycan
It’s an suv. I much prefer the Taycan feel and styling. Lotus is Chinese and I’m sure is competent but it’s not a Porsche. We’ll see. I have no complaints about my Taycan and absolutely love driving it. The only minor gripe is it needs to be narrower for uk roads. Looking forward to the...
I don't think this is the final design, it's way to clumsy and if so the original clean lines of the Gen 1 Taycan will be the ones to have. If this drastically improves the aero then I might forgive it just a little but I am not a fan and it's not one of those 'oh it will grow on me' facelifts.
Interesting comparison. Personally I’d love a Taycan two door coupe. Maybe a 2 plus 2 with a hatch back. That would be perfect. Come on Porsche get on with it!
Can anyone tell me how I can charge at a Tesla charger in the uk? Which app do I need there seem to be a handful on App Store. Whether it’s cheaper than Porsche centres in uk?
(I’m sure there’s a thread on this but can’t find it.)
Cheery Red, obviously. Game over, Taycan looks great in a colour but then I am not a fan of fifty shades of grey. More seriously both specs are good but I love RAS but would also like the noise insulated glass which my car doesn't have. Air suspension is a must for me. So probably the RWD...
Yes I agree, I have resisted 50 shades of grey and have loved every minute of it. Mamba green has attracted many admiring comments and no one doesn't like it , well they're not prepared to say! The great classic Porsches from 70's and 80's always look better in lesser known more extrovert...
I found my I4 not as involving to drive as the Taycan, steering was very woolly. I felt the weight of the car while driving enthusiastically on UK roads. I didn't really get on with the Idrive 8, it felt clunky and just didn't work that well apart from addressing me by the wrong name for 10...
