Thanks guys.
I figured that was the case but hadn’t tried to do that yet as I have the balance of 7gb to burn through, lol.
I have insulated glass so need to make sure my phone will still connect if left in my pocket, buts that another thing to trial.
Does Google map layers still work if...
I got the warn & brake assist message. I’m sure it’s linked to the adaptive cruise sensor but don’t quote me on that.
Definitely frost being the culprit in my case.
I had a Cayenne turbo that used to hate inclement weather & would throw a fit in heavy rain, amongst other of mother nature’s...
I have a speed camera detector wired into my 911. It’s connected to the fuse box via a fuse jumper, so no physical wires have been cut. For the first few visits back to the dealer I would always disconnect it all for fear of a rejected warranty claim, however over time I stopped disconnecting &...
I got the sensor dirty warning too this morning. Very frosty here so assumed it was ice or something similar obstructing the sensor. Went away whilst driving.
I’m pretty switched on, so I’m more than sure it’s how I’ve set things up between my phone and the car.
Carplay worked, however no online services worked. I.e Spotify just hung so I assume no data (I’m on wireless carplay by the way).
I have linked the phones WiFi to the cars 5g hotspot...
Thanks Steve.
I could only get google map view to work with a subscription to the data package. My CarPlay wasn’t connecting to the internet neither without a subscription, but I assume I may have set my phone up incorrectly.
Other than that car is amazing & I'm really enjoying it. Thanks.
Interesting that the questionnaire doesn’t ask if the app was used to initiate charging timers/profiles. That’ll debunk a few theories I’ve seen swirling around in here :)
You ask whether depreciation will be a factor if you load a 4S up and the answer is yes. You will get little or no money back on the extra money you will pay on the options.
In the U.K. PCP is a popular way to finance a vehicle & the turbo will have a higher guaranteed future minimum value...
I, on the other hand, have had no connect issues and as of yet no 12v battery issues & I've only been doing very short runs in the car thus far.
Ive remotely set charging profiles & timers, remote locked the doors (app is a bit misleading regarding the car being locked) & set the pre-heat...
Apologies if this has been asked, or indeed even answered, elsewhere.
My connect app always shows an unlocked padlock next to the parking brake symbol.
The first time I noticed this was a heart in mouth moment as I thought I had left my car unlocked. However the car was locked.
Messing around...
I can confirm this “hack” still works on the MY21.
it’s a bit of a faff to master but once you’ve sussed it, it works.
Probably absolutely pointless in the real world but man, does it look cool.
Thanks for the advice.
That’s what I thought as some of the messages did correspond with a few times I’d been in the car. However that doesn’t explain the messages through the night.
Steep learning curve, but I’m enjoying it.
I have a 2018 991.2 and my new Taycan on the same accounts. Absolutely no problems online and within the app as you can switch between the car profiles very easily. Neither are conflicting with one another.
I don’t subscribe to any online features for my 911 so the app doesn’t do a lot for the...
Hello.
Not even one full day into ownership and I already have a question.
I keep getting alerted from the Porsche connect app that the Pre-cooling/heating of my vehicle is complete.
I reckon to have had about six of these messages and two of those appeared in the middle of the night.
To my...
It is an unbelievable feat of engineering.
Still navigating my way around the PCM but getting there.
Look forward to seeing your pics and hearing your initial thoughts.
