Please excuse this slight digression from my normal posts...I just really love Cayennes :CWL:
For those interested in other Porsches, especially the Cayenne E-Hybrid, this may be an interesting read: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a42487659/2024-porsche-cayenne-prototype-drive/.
They’re...
There was a round earlier this month. My SA even received a GTS ST that went to someone who placed an order demand a while back.
What trim are you looking to order? If you're looking to get something, you're welcome to PM...and I can share my SA's contact with you. PEC LA would be a ton of fun...
I’ve never seen Porsche cut prices. Every model year, there’s usually an increase. Have you ever seen Rolex backtrack their price hikes?
Taycan sales in 2022 were down compared to 2021, and some people think it’s because of demand. It’s not. The war in Ukraine significantly affected the...
Yup, very true. You're 100% correct! I meant it more out of precautionary measure, as people usually advise against putting a substantial cap reduction upfront for leases. If the car is totaled on day two, things can get a little tricky / stuck in limbo, but I digress.
PFS (I think) doesn't...
I do not have any details, unfortunately.
Residuals and Money Factors are set by the bank, though the dealer will likely mark-up the money factor. I don't think there's a max down payment, but in most states, you pay taxes on cap reduction (aka down payment), so that may not be the wisest move...
It seems the $7,500 rebate might be back for Porsche Taycan and E-Hybrids if one elects to lease the vehicle. I don't want to turn this thread into an argument on the merits of leasing vs financing, but I wanted to bring this to the community's attention (it is also mentioned on another thread)...
If the rebate is applied as cap reduction, which it likely is, you could lease, make 2-3 payments, then pay it off or refinance into a traditional loan...and your payoff could reflect the $7500, as it was technically money down at inception. I'm not 100% sure, but that's how it worked in the...
A great friend just took delivery of a Taycan RWD I had previously mentioned on here...It's Solid White with Paint-Matched Mission E Rims and White PSCBs. A stunning combo!
I wanted to post a pic here in case someone is on the fence about ordering this particular spec. It really is one of the...
Happy Saturday, Everyone!
I had some extra time today, so I created a relatively simple spreadsheet to list the available Taycans I mention on this thread. It's in my signature and linked here. There is notably a bonus Taycan GTS Sedan allocation available at MSRP; it was given to my SA...
Please read the post above this one (post #200) for allocation information & outlook.
In the upcoming days, I plan to speak with my SA to see what he has available in terms of allocations and inbound/landed units. I think there is currently an available inbound GTS Sedan @ MSRP, and you're...
Hi Everyone!
In honor of my thread's 200th post ?, I wanted to write a 2022 Taycan allocation recap and 2023 outlook, based on my experiences and opinions :) I apologize for the long read.
In 2022, I think it's fair to say that Taycan (and pretty much all Porsche models) experienced very high...
Nice spec! I'd consider adding Sport Chrono; Heated GT Steering Wheel (instead of the regular heated steering wheel you optioned...the GT version is a little thicker/sportier); & Porsche Crest on Front Headrests.
Also, when you get a minute, please check your PMs.
Ah, this happened to me too with our 992. It always showed the boat/car at the destination port, even though it was still sailing across the Atlantic lol. The vessel name is what matters, and you can track it on MarineTraffic or another similar website.
This is fantastic news! :)
Interesting...(Sorry to everyone if we're hijacking this thread; we can totally move our convo to PM)...I've only seen V110 for a PTS order. It might also be that an option you've ordered is on constraint. In any case, I'd sit down with them to confirm it's a real allocation...and ask why you...
If you'd like, you're welcome to PM me your paperwork (sensitive info redacted, of course), and I can read it to see if it's an order demand or actual allocation. If it says V070 on the build sheet, then it's an order demand. If you haven't received TYD since August, then it's very likely just...
I wouldn’t say the bait & switch is required to sell these cars; it’s just a tactic some stores use to gain sales leads. You never know, sometimes people call-in, find out the car is sold, but weeks later the same trim is available…At least that SA has the client’s info and can give them a call...
The sales tactic goes along the lines of:
Client- “I want this GTS ST.”
Dealer- “Sorry, it’s sold.”
Client- “But it’s listed online?”
Dealer- “Yes, but it’s sold. We have a GTS Sedan incoming that’s available…ADM is only $15k. Would that be of any interest? We can order you a ST, but it’d be a...
