Coming from Teslas, although I love how my 2022 RWD handles, I miss the instant torque, especially I drive on freeway mostly, it's not as fast I used to cut through traffic. I will go with 4S next time.
No argument that Taycan has horrible depreciation now, but it's not fair to compare resale in 2022. Many used cars cost higher than new cars in 2022, including Taycan.
Happen to me about once a week on both front windows, I don't use rear windows often.
I'll live with it and see if it gets worse before I take it to the dealer.
Preventative recalls. There was no accident caused by these recalls.
Porsche has a stop sale due to these recalls on all Taycan worldwide, they have to fix these recalls before they can deliver the Taycan to you.
Many of existing Taycan owners are waiting for parts, some dealers prioritize...
I think spending >$72k for 3 years of Taycan RWD is ridiculous high for todays car market.
You can buy a 2 year old CPO for the same price.
If money is not a huge factor for you, get a 4S or higher, you will enjoy the car a lot more.
They have parts, but not enough for all the Taycan. If you buy a Taycan from them, they will prioritize the parts to make the sale.
Don't ask how I know, from a proud new owner.
My car is also a 2022 base with ambient lighting, I only replaced the front doors. It was pretty easy to popped them out. I also pop the original red lens off by accident, but took me few more seconds to pop the white body out. Install new lights were pretty effortless, too.
Hi, new Taycan owner. When I apply physical brake, my power meter shows absolutely no recuperation in the grey ring of the power meter. Is not normal?
Overrun recuperation works, I see green bar in the power meter.
Outside temperature `75 degrees, battery about 40%.
Hi, I have the same issue, and scheduled to bring it in later this week, can you share the name of your dealer, so if my service advisor doesn't know what to do, they can reach out to yours.
