    Electrify America Issues

The ones that come to mind are: 1. Fort Lee NJ - 4 stations. I have visited this site at least 30 times in the last year. Average up percentage was 50%. In addition, they were derated from 150kWh to 50 kWh. What is really stupid in that these stations are used by ride share drivers going and...

    Electrify America Issues

As my mother used to say "The bloom is off the rose". This is becoming an untenable situation and frankly, if "it keeps up", you won't be able to give these cars away.

    Electrify America Issues

Geez, I would be happy to pay if I could find an EA charger that actually works. My local station with 4 units has at least two down all the time. They also have derated the chargers from a crappy 150kWh to 50kWh. What a joke. I don't know about other folks but in the Northeast, the charging...

Three Months without the Taycan - Porsche cannot care less....

Not that my comment is consoling - if your car was drivable, why not have the collision center order the part and deliver your car when it is delivered. My GT3 has been down about a month now awaiting a part. I am awaiting a fuel injector which blew up, while not ubiquitous there are thousands...

Anyone else got "fungus green PTS" door rubbers for free like I did?

How can fungus grow so fast overnight? I guess I missed the Petri Dish option in the configurator.

Does not Belgium have the Porsche tax? I have been paying it for over a decade now.

Puddle Lights, Practicality Thereof (U.S. market)

Forget the puddle lights and buy a set of these for a fraction of the price. I have had them for over 2 years and no issues whatsoever.

    Porsche Car connect HACK?! Anyone?

I am not a tech guy but common sense tells me that you are stuck without PAG's assistance. It you removed the PCM and inserted another SIM card, how would Porsche communicate with it. I would bet their servers are programmed to connect with SIM cards that they have registered only. Unless they...

Anyone upgraded brakes/brake feel? Too soft!

FWIW, I agree with the OP. The Taycan brakes feel very different from a 991 or a 992. Its not that the brakes fail to stop the car, they just feel different. Note: I am not referring to low speed excessive travel that is the subject of much discussion and a service bulletin...

all has been great so far - 6,000 miles and 8 months in

FWIW, 28 months in and 18k miles. One small issue early on and not worth mentioning. My Taycan has performed better than any 911 I have owned. No parts replaced - nothing that stop it from operating. I have only purchased one 911 off lease, this will probably another off lease purchase. I know...

    PCM

As a long time P-Car owner, I think Porsche has lost it's way. When folks care more about the PCM than the drive, all is lost.

The 18 way seats are killing me!

When I purchased a 2014 911, I sat in the 18-way for about 30 minutes. That was enough for me to figure out that these seats and my back were not in concert. The 14-way worked much better. I have no fix for your problem, other than to sell the car or change the seats. I had the same experience...

I tried the Zunsport grills and I like them

Its not if a debris encounter will do damage, its when. Back in 2014, I was considering after market grills for my 991 911. I asked my PSC master tech if he replaced many radiators do to punctures. He said it was not a routine occurrence. I opted not to purchase the grills. Two weeks later, I...

I tried the Zunsport grills and I like them

I bought them two years ago, they did not take very long to arrive. If memory serves me it was about a week. I have no clue about shipping cost as I was quoted an all in price. I think it was about $250, but could be wrong on the price. Here are some images I just took, unfortunately it is raining.

I tried the Zunsport grills and I like them

I installed them on my RWD immediately. They look as good today as when new. I had the unfortunate experience of having a radiator punctured on a 991 -911 a few years ago. PAG would not warranty it. No grilles in this area is a design flaw designed to save $$$. Still irritates me years later...

Rubber brake lever cover fell off, what now?

The rubber cover has to be refitted to the metal brake pedal plate by putting the top and one side first. Be sure the metal pedal plate is fitted in between the rubber pad and the overlapping flange on both top and side. Then work the other side and the bottom using an auto interior trim tool...

    What would you do?

PTS seals the deal assuming the color is broadly acceptable. This option will be unaffordable in the future and PCar buyers love being one of a kind.

These are the PERFECT set of wheels

Let the buyer beware - folks have to read more carefully! There is no place in the description that indicates these wheels are forged with one exception - (Made) By REAL CNC FORGED T6061-T6 Aluminum I remember in the late 50's and early 60's when Japan was where China is today. To combat...
