Car is at the dealer as of this morning. Paperwork done and delivery scheduled for “late Monday/early Tuesday”. We’ll see!

Got a call from my dealer telling me she received the paperwork on my vehicle and she’s expecting transport delivery any day now. However due to the abbreviated work week and the general end-of-year craziness she doesn’t expect to get my car delivered this week.

Sorry to hear this. I still find this whole predicament wholly incredible; the fact that we’re scrambling down to the last day or two of the year hoping to get our MY21 cars processed at the port and delivered just under the wire when they all started production in July…. just crazy.

There’s nothing quite like the feeling one gets on spending upwards of $140k on a car that’s been inexplicably delayed on numerous occasions, a year old at ultimate delivery and receives virtually no info from their dealer. This has been quite an experience.

As you guys start getting info from your dealers re: transport and delivery please post it up here. My TYD is useless and is still showing my car nearly 3k miles away off the coast of Portugal. TYD is still showing a Port Processing date of 01/14 and a Delivery Date of 01/21. I had high hopes...

Yes! A very pleasant surprise indeed!

Just received an alert that the draught on the FA changed from 8.7 to 7.9 so it would appear that the ship has dropped some cars. Good news!

And I’m guessing no action on the transport end after Thursday so it’s dubious as to whether these cars make it to dealers by year end.

Given the history of this order of mine, why am I not surprised?

And here we go…. the FA is motoring towards Davisville and is currently located 34nm from mooring. Here’s hoping for an early docking and subsequent quick unloading of our cars.

I’m seeing the same thing,; ETA has now changed to the 26th and the FA is sitting 74 NM out from port. I guess this is over until after the holiday.

I’m curious as to whether the ports are open on Sundays….
