Welcome to the 2021 Auto market. My local Porsche dealer has three new vehicles on the ground to sell. Not 3 Taycans. Three vehicles TOTAL. And this is the highest volume Porsche dealer in Houston.
THREE.
Price gouging, markups, etc. are completely common now. Wait if you can.
This.
Lucid has flat out stated that their motor size is directly related to the 900v architecture they are using. Remember, higher voltage means lower current which means less wire heating which means smaller wires...the virtuous cycle. I would posit that Porsche is on Gen 1 of their...
I defer to styling until I see the Air or the EQ-S in person but certainly they are off to a poor start based on photos / videos. Sometimes style is worth a little range hit.
The EQS is especially disturbing given the minivan-like window just behind the a-pillar and SUPER tall hood. Yuck.
Agreed that the Taycan is least like the others, but disagree that it's a sports car.
Taycan - Sporty GT
Merc / Lucid - Luxury Sedan
Tesla - Luxury Sedan with sporting pretentions.

Please do chime in now and then with your...
Well, most anything is slow after an EV.
I rather enjoy my base Macan loaners. I treat them like really nicely appointed Golf R's and drive them accordingly. They do very well on the terrible pavement in the Houston area. The price is pretty horrific, but if you could get a good deal on...

Rivian and Hummer look pretty hard core so far. But yeah, cool that a lowly lifted wagon can do this kind of thing.
You don't get it because you live in a country where a wagon (estate) is an acceptable car. Here in the good ole USofA (insert obligatory yee haw!) wagons are lot rocks. Sales death. Unesllable. So how do people sell them? By trying to lamely re-invent them as "softroaders" or some such...
That happens to me at home too. And I couldn't understand why at work I'd have zero vampire drain after being there 9 hours. Then it hit me...wifi.
I tried turning off wifi at home and boom. No more vampire drain. Like less than 1 mile lost overnight.
