Be careful. The issue is not Mission Es
The issue is any of the 21’ options. I have Spyders on my GTS. It is possible to minimise damage on 21s but you have to be VERY careful. I have 3 v small scuffs on NSF after 7000 miles. 2 wheels have tiny scuffs that are not visible. I touch up with a...
That’s it. The photo of the camera view shows camera view is mirror image. The photo is normal view.
I never realised the difference until I put them together. It is completely intuitive that the rear view camera shows you the same as rear view mirror.
It would be odd if they were opposite!?
YES!
I park with mirrors and direct vision.
There is 1 inch either side with mirrors folded out.
I use the camera to see if anything is behind me. Blue lines are a distraction. The camera is clear and focused.
Just hopelessly distorted.
I found the rear camera view with the surround view...
Here is my shapeshifting Taycan installed in the space. Not as good a view as from the magnificent rear view camera.
I specced Cloaking Device and Shapeshifting as factory options. Not available in all markets.
‘Only’ 11.5 wider than a 911.
Taycan is perfectly manageable.
Narrower than any super/hyper car.
I squeeze my Taycan through this gap at work every day!
Octopus Go is definitely worth it for me.
Don’t need intelligent and not Audi or Porsche compatible.
We have the Taycan and an Etron so I alternate the cars.
I leave the cars dumb and the Podpoint only comes alive between 00.30 and 04.30. Never have a problem.
I plug the other car into 3 pin...
I didnt have it on my 4S Nov 20 to Jan 22.
I didnt miss it
Got a GTS May 22 and got it as standard, it's the advanced, unique 'GTS Sport Sound'
Woo Hoo
I put the rear seats down and whizzed about once, its a bit of fun, like Launch Control.
Usually its just irritating - I definitely wouldnt...
I found the basic power steering with my 4S and 20 inch wheels perfect.
My salesmen told me to get Power steering PLUS with the gangsta black RS Spyder 21 inch wheels on my GTS.
I failed to take his advice but after tugging on the wheel for a week I quickly upgraded via FoD for £299 so cost...
I use my Porsche charge card to charge my wife’s Audi Etron all the time at Ionity and Porsche Centres and I get the 30p rate.
The charging rate seems to be related to the card exclusively and not the car. Plug and charge has never worked for me so the network doesn’t seem to communicate with...
I agree 100%. Charging for time spent stops blockers and discourages slow charging cars.
I was cruising home from The Lakes today and needed a top up to get back without range anxiety.
Stopped at Porsche South Lakes. 30 seconds off the M6.
I put in 16.66 kw in 5 minutes and paid £6.92.
42p a kw...
It is standard in the UK. 2019 cars had the hardware but there was compatibility issues with UK network.
My iPhone 8 (the oldest phone in this thread by a mile!) gets hot but doesn’t cut out.
I didn’t know the phone could do it and my OP didn’t know my first Taycan could do it but it worked on...
Preheating also has a huge effect. The battery uses 2-3 kws to heat itself up from -10 to +10 so if you jump in a car at -10 and do short journeys of under 5 miles you can get the range down to 100 miles.
Depends. That’s not bad as weather is cold and you get NO regen braking until brakes bed in at 1000 miles-ISH which is what the dealer is referring to.
Also depends on the model and wheels.
200 miles on a Turbo or Turbo S with some 21” gangster wheels is excellent in winter.
If it’s 200 on a...
I had a 2008 911 GT3, roll cage, bucket seats, manual. I loved it at the time I seem to remember. Track days, Le Mans 24hrs etc. I was young….
Things have moved on.
I have had a Taycan 4S and now I have a Taycan GTS.
I didn’t realise how much things had moved on until I had a 911 GTS loaner for...
Octopus Go is 7.5p per Kw at night
34p day rate.
I use 30kw at 7.5
About 6 at 34 (in summer)
The cap is nothing to do with night rate
Hopefully will still be low even when day cap goes to 60p
No point in panels for car charging in Uk unless you have storage as even when it’s sunny enough your...
I have a May 22 GTS and it has much 23 software. It had the software update last Friday. There are a few updates still. The clear one I notice is I can now buy Comfort Access via Function on Demand which I definitely could not before the update. I was told it took 3 hours. A MY20 car can take...
It’s a total mystery!
Just been on holiday road trip to France from the north of England.
Charged twice at Shell (175kw) in UK as perfect location, Ionity locations didnt suite.
65p per KW, ouch but worked well.
With Porsche card 2x Ionity charges in Normandy €0.30 Porsche charge Card worked...
Relax guys.
All MY22 can be updated to a MY23.
GTS are in effect all MY23 anyway.
They have all the MY23 features already.
The list of improvements for MY23 and the recently announced upgrade for 20 21 22 models are already on my 22 GTS.
