Crystal Ray just sailed from Southhampton. Next port of call is Veracruz ETA 12/29 12:00 which seems to be a day early versus the Stena Glovis schedule.
So far the ship is on schedule versus the Stena Glovis schedule. Maybe TYD is just padding the dates, but since every date in TYD has slipped multiple times I'm preparing for another delay... :(
My TYD updated again to match your 12/17 date. The Crystal Ray just sailed from Bremerhaven to Zeebrugge, and I assume straight back to Emden after that...
My 4S finished production Oct 29 and was finally assigned to a ship this morning. The Crystal Ray on "12/24/2021" heading to Benecia, CA - who's with me?
Yes - My Porsche shows "Production Complete" as does TYD. I hope this isn't a replay of the lost July cars. It's very odd. My dealer's sales system also Shows V300 Oct 28 as the last update. I wrote Porsche NA as well to see if they can shed any light...
No news for me. My 4S "Completed Production" on Oct 28 with no updates since then - my dealer sees the same in his sales system. I also confirmed the car is complete with no campaigns. Very annoying...
My 4S started production Oct 12. End was scheduled Oct 19. After entering production, it changed to Nov 26! Then, out of the blue, it finished production Oct 29. No news since then...
My car seems stuck. It hit "Production Completed" on Oct 29, then "Estimated Ready for Transport" of Oct 29. It hasn't updated since then so I'm not sure what is going on. I still have a chance for a December delivery (and tax credit) if it isn't delayed again. Is anyone else seeing a long...
I learned that the hard way when I lived in the Middle East. I covered my car and went on a two week vacation. After some wind and sand, I returned to find polished metal on the corners of my car. At least it was a fairly cheap car, but I haven't used a cover since...
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Tesla cables are very short, limiting where Taycans can charge. In the U.S. there are about 5 general Tesla charger station layouts. Some layouts will work fine (pull-through chargers and some others); many won't reach. It will be interesting to...
I live in and ordered from Marin. Finished production today, so you'll see one more (gentian) 4S on the road soon. I see a lot of Taycans around here - they are selling like crazy! For those not around here, almost every new car on the road is a Tesla. They call them the "Mill Valley Prius" :)...
My Start Production slipped from mid-Sep to Oct 5 with Completion scheduled for Oct 12. Production started Oct 5, then Completion slipped to Nov 26. TYD now says Completed Production today, Oct 29! We'll see how much TYD ping-pongs on the shipping side of things...
Same here. It slips 2 weeks every 2 days. Very frustrating. How can they build a zillion id4 cars and not divert enough chips to their high margin cars?
Mine entered production Oct 12 with completion estimate of Oct 22. Just updated to completion of Nov 12 and Emden Nov 19. Very annoying. Delivery in California has slipped from Dec 1 to Jan 7 over the past few weeks.
The Order Date seems to change to the latest date you have made changes to your build. My 4S entered production Oct 12 (3 days early) and is still in production. Hopefully heading to port soon!
