Yeah, those are the ones with the optional carbon fibre blades, which look a bit different. I think at least originally the configurator added those blades by default, but if you then manually choose e.g. the Turbonite paint, you get the variant I posted (and ~€4000 extra cash in your pocket).
What do you mean? I think the shapes look more or less identical to me. The colours differ a bit, but that might be a matter of lighting and that Porsche really can't decide what colour Turbonite actually is.
Note that while the battery capacity has increased, the majority of the extra range comes from efficiency improvements.
I hardly think it’s worth replacing a fully functioning battery purely for a slight range increase. It’s probably better to just get a new car instead.
I usually don't pay that much attention to the general guess-o-meter, but rather the average efficiency for different types of driving. For typical motorway driving at ~110-120 km/h, I usually get around 23-25 kWh/100km depending on the season. It can of course be both less or more depending on...
Yeah, even though Autopilot is obviously significantly more advanced, I find the fundamental design of it worse than InnoDrive/ALK. When Autopilot works, it's amazing, but occasionally it will spontaneously try to murder you.
InnoDrive just does what you expect it to do and it doesn't matter...
I agree. If you turn off the automatic speed limit adjustment, I think it works great. It still reads the signs, but you have to confirm it with the stalk which is how it should be.
Hm, I wonder what that alternative colour scheme is about, where the front inlet blades are black. I haven't seen that in the configurator. Feels a bit Audi E-tron GT esque to me.
No, the cover definitely moves. You can see that it even bounces a bit if you go frame by frame. I think the reversed video theory is probably the most likely explanation.
What's going on at 3:19 in the last video? Since when can you jam in a CCS connector without manually opening the DC cover? It just magically opens in the last second.
Has that always been a thing that I'm just now realising?
I got my build slot confirmed today for a June 14 delivery. Very minor changes from before, perhaps most notably that I was allowed to spec the 21" Carbon Exclusive Design wheels instead of the Cross Turismo wheels for some slightly increased range. They weren't originally available in the...
All European and American EVs, including Teslas make some kind of artificial pedestrian warning sound when moving. I believe American specced cars are also required to make a noise even while standing still in drive mode, which is probably what you're hearing. That said, I'm not really familiar...
Absolutely criminal. Like I said in another thread, I agree that weight is an issue for multiple reasons, but that applies to all vehicles, no matter the fuel type. Tax that specifically targets EVs is just utter nonsense.
No, I almost feel silly replying to these threads because I've had relatively little issues with my car in general.
I use ALK+InnoDrive constantly and have very little to complain about. It's very rudimentary, but it keeps the car centred and doesn't hinder my driving at all. To me, it's a...
What I find sad is that in today's political climate everything is either black or white, making it almost impossible to discuss flaws or possible improvements.
Yes, EVs are overall obviously significantly better for both the local environment and climate, increased vehicle weight and...
Don’t forget that even if you press the brake pedal it won’t engage the mechanical brakes until needed, but it obviously turns on the brake lights either way.
Nevertheless, I'm not entirely sure why it actually matters what physical method of braking the car uses. If the car brakes, it brakes...
