Update on the Station of Mystery:
The most recent work ticket had been August of 2024, after which all work ceased, although it...
Many BMW i4 owners report the same problem. But no option for RWS or adjustable height suspension on the i4.
(And we haven’t had that problem on our i4 either.)
^ Yipes, sorry to hear about the bent wheels! My 20" is that design that looks really optical but actually is almost entirely solid, with large black sections that trick the eye into thinking it's an open design. If my wife's i4 M50 had gone into that massive hole, with those open 19" wheels...
Oh yes, will do!
Might not be for awhile though, since getting down there isn't all the convenient for me, so might combined it with some other trip.
Meanwhile, two new installments in my Epic Taycan Tire Tale:

And the Epic Taycan Tire Tale continues!
Along with great irony, since I haven't had any problems with premature wear on the inner shoulders. I drive maybe 1/4 of the time in Lowered, but Low is maybe only 1/8. I keep my tires inflated to 37 front, 39 rear, 20" CC2 (4CT).
But it's just been...
Looks like this is going to be me.
Unless it's just a problem with how the body shop hooked the front camera back up after they discovered that a wire needed replacing.
If the first visit for the first countermeasure is successful, sounds like that is going to take days, and will require a wait...
Just do the math and it’s the same as if the question were asked as intended.
Plus it doesn’t matter. A knowledgeable seller can game this by driving at a steady ~50 mph for awhile to bump up the GOM.
^ But what about the impressive 97% uptime? (Or is that just standing upright 97% of the time?)
Meanwhile, the private sector continues to deliver, yay!
When giving someone advice for driving from the Boston area to Jay Peak VT, I had been about to write that St Johnsbury didn't have much --...
The NEVI suspension was brief: in August new rules were issued, actually streamlining the process.
Given how few NEVI stations have been built since Congressional passage in November 2021, a few months are relatively trivial in the eventually NEVI build-out.
And that suspension was only for...
So since I was there for the heater, figured I’d have the dealer do the 60k service also.
Sure my local Porsche indie would cost less, and I have total faith in him, but if anything more serious needs to be done, I have that extended vehicle service plan with which the dealer claims to have a...
That’s probably what everyone at the dealership is thinking given the extensive grime from driving through lots of snowfall recently to ski Mt Washington!
Meanwhile, after driving only about five minutes this morning in Yonkers, fell in behind a Taycan Turbo S sedan in a classy shade of forest...
Thanksgiving dinner did not live up to its potential, as everyone obeyed the No Politics Rule, most notably my Trump-voting in-laws and their Mamdani-voting granddaughter.
However, I was asked if I had charged at any Rivian stations? Why yes, I have, both Brattleboro VT and West Lebanon NH...
Impressively misleading comparison from that listing:
“Enhanced Efficiency: Charges up to 4X faster than a standard 32Amp 7.7kW charger, maximizing your charging efficiency.”
Not again!
Enjoyed some fun skiing along the Mt W Cog railway ski trail Wednesday afternoon, with more snow in the forecast:
Awoke to more snow on the ground, more snow in the air, more snow on the radar map ...
... and a Taycan warning message of tire pressure 25 pounds below spec...
