no 240 V cable for me. Stevens Creek said they are only giving them out in small quantities for special cases--i did not ask more. They are suppose to get them in larger quantities by October.
the passenger screen is a gimmick because it only really works when passenger is sitting there, otherwise it displays dimmed music choice or Taycan logo. I hear the new model even blacks it out completely when viewing at an angle. The purpose of that screen should have been to give driver a...
thanks for going the extra distance and writing up your findings. I had the pleasure of meeting Mario in-person and can second what you said about the level of support.
Yes, the rolling performance is a noticeable bump and worth the upgrade even if 0-60 or ¼ is not noticeable boost on Turbo S.
interesting that Steven's Creek said that because mine is in for other work and the cable was an outstanding item from a previous visit and they are ready to replace it for me. Will see this week if they actually do.
I have my own data-point because i just ended my vacation: '21 Turbo S. 28 days in garage. Dropped off at 49%, picked up at 43%. Used two remotely activated 60-minute cabin climate activation. I think that is pretty good comparing how my Rivian R1T 2022 was losing 2% a day just for sitting around.
interesting that they said that.
I asked my local dealership if i can install two new tires in the front that are different brand and they did not mention that it is not possible, but not advisable.
My front tires are wearing out faster than the rears by at least 2000 miles and i had been...
the negative to that immediate power delivery might be faster wear level on parts. the regular Taycan power delivery is just fine, having the ECU reprogrammed to deliver full amount and not partial is all that was needed IMHO.
yes, on Turbo S the most noticeable improvement is when the car is in motion anywhere from 30-70 mph. You really have to be careful if there are cars around you as the pickup is really hard.
I will do my Draggy measurements and share at some point but probably only in August.
This diagram causes more questions than answers:
1. if this 12-volt low voltage detection is working as described, why are we hearing about dead Taycans that drained their 12-volt battery after few weeks of being in this bus sleep state.
2. if i induce a wake event from my App and not rely on...
I read the advice from Porsche that you provided a link to and it states in paragraph 11 not to use the MyPorsche App too frequently as it will drain the 12-volt battery. But i was hoping to use the MyPorsche App to trigger a cabin climate control event that would not only preheat/cool the...
Source-- a Rivian Forum perhaps?
https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/poll-should-rivian-offer-apple-carplay.29383/
There is Apple Music now as a new music source on a Rivian Gen 2 and maybe on Gen 1, but connectivity will not be free anymore.
However, one thing i disliked about Rivian...
where do you buy them?
in the normal lift mode in my Taycan Sedan, which is lower than Cross Turismo, can go over bumps up to 21 mph without scraping and so programming the lift button to store to location wont even work because speed has to be less than 18 mph (30 kph). But for everything...
can you please show on this picture where these scrape guards are @Mr.Smith ?
and also, do you have lift function in your Audi and why not use that instead?
don't do it....
it will cost you less to repair paint chips and imperfections than to inevitably replace the PPF in two-years time
My car had PPF put on the entire front and there are so many tears all over the bumper area that it needs to be replaced two years later as this guy describes...
