Agreed. I never use mine if I'm on motorway or dual carriageway roads. Only on single carriageway roads, for those exact reasons.
My previous Laser Light equipped BMW's also did the same thing.
My 2024 GTS ST is a J1.1 but I love the PDLS+ Matrix lights on it. We live in a very rural area and the lights are absolutely superb at lighting the back roads up, especially in winter.
I still don't think they are as good as the Laser Lights I had on my G81 BMW M3 Touring but they are good...
After 16k miles my PZero's still had about 2.5 - 2.8mm of tread left with no appreciable inner sidewall wear. I run in 'Normal' mode most of the time so that perhaps explains the lack of inner tread/sidewall wear.
I don't think there's a huge difference between the Asymmetric 3 and 5, likely...
If you want to stick with Porsche Approved/Rated NF tyres, with the GTS on 21" Spyders you have a choice of Pirelli PZero's or Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics. That's literally it. If you aren't bothered about sticking with NF rated hoops, your options open up slightly.
I've recently replaced my...
I've now got a 'Charging port impaired' message for the nearside AC/DC port. Bloody thing refuses to open despite it opening fine last night. That's the same port which was giving me charging issues so perhaps it's related.
Currently charging using the driver side (offside) charging port and it...
Daft question - how do you know you have an LTE issue? Does the Porsche app simply fail to update the current time to show the car is connected? The LTE symbol on my PCM doesn't have a line through it or anything but my car failed to charge again overnight. All it said was 'Charging Error' in...
Thanks, did you notice an increase in range afterwards?
Also, which app are people using with their OBD2's? I have a decent OBD2 reader which I used for my G81 M3, but I used BimmerCode with it and I'd doubt that will work on my Taycan!
Wonder how long they were down for? Plugged my car in last night and set it to charge to 85% via my Zappi and Ovo Charge and this morning it appeared to have gotten to 35% and just stopped during the night.
All seems to be working now, good job I wasn't planning a trip anywhere first thing though!
Thanks. 275 miles at this time of year in the UK is pretty decent. I'm usually about 210 ish due to the colder temperatures, Spring/Summer I'll see around 240 miles.
I have the PVTS+ OEM tracker and it works very well. Although the fob is a bit bulky to carry around, you do get used to it.
I’ve also had a few false alarms when I’ve been driving for some time and randomly the dash tells me ‘Driver card not found’ when it’s in my pocket. To be fair though...
