Hi all! I just bought this ‘22 a few weeks ago but forgot to post here. It’s such a beautiful car and so much fun to drive!!!
Fingers crossed for no issues!!
The critical warning paragraph is suspicious. This is an operation a Porsche tech will do, but if the battery voltage isn’t within the proper window and the control unit is damaged, it’s not a warrantable defect????
I recently bought a '22 Taycan and I had been reading that it charged at 11kW. I already own a Kia EV6 and it DOES charge at11kW, but my Taycan is only about 9.5kW. Came here looking to see why/when it changed. It's pretty crappy to buy a car with a certain expectation and come to find it falls...
I like this thread. Why are they opposed to pushing over the air (OTA) updates globally to fix things? What sections of the system are even capable of OTA, and what sections can only be performed by the dealership (or other capable entity)?
My ''22 had 3882, but it was doing so much stupid crap...
If they had implemented the system better, they could have update ALL cars over the air, OR USB stick. People could do it themselves at zero recurring expense to the company.
There are two sets of information I want to see on the driver screen at the same time: TRIP and INFORMATION. the right 'gauge' has both of them as options, but I would like to see the left 'gauge' with similar options in its list so I could display these two simultaneously.
I would like to...
It’s so cool you developed this! I look forward to whatever else you do for the Taycan. Make it reasonable and I’m sure everyone will buy it.
Here’s the scan from my ‘22
Yes, ok, but I'm more interested in his personal knowledge or experience with the Taycan. There are lots of garages full of people who fix cars, but this guy seems to have a much more intimate knowledge of the Taycan's inner workings, code base, security, etc. I would like to read about that...
I sure did! I’m new to the vehicle and I’m doing a lot of reading instead of blasting the forum with a pile of newbie questions.
The statement that I replied to is flat out wrong and it’s annoying to read stuff like that and let it propagate unchecked.
