Oddly enough, yes! I can filter for chargers with 270+ kW and it will show me the station the car will not. But it does incorrectly show it as 2 chargers when there are actually four chargers at that location.
You wrote: "Your NAV also has local data stored up to the point your subscription expired." The person who owned this car before me had 3 free years, so the car should have updated maps up until 1 year ago. Does it only update areas the car passes through, or does it update large parts of the...
The loop highlighted is an off ramp that hasn’t existed in 4 years. The map is Bailey Road and highway 4 in Pittsburg CA. It’s shown correctly in Google Maps in the first photo.
That’s great idea about checking on a different car. Do you think it would have to be another older Taycan, or would it be a reasonable expectation to confirm in one of their newer cars and then complain my car should have safe map data? I know Google Maps and Apple Maps have it properly shown...
There are still parts of this statement I can’t reconcile with what I see. The car searches for hundreds of chargers right now, even without a subscription. How is that possible if what you say is accurate?
The really frustrating part is that I can use a search term “Electrify America” and...
But the confusing part is that it finds all sorts of chargers at every level of capacity. Why would I need to pay for a service to filter the chargers it can already see?
It also will find several 350kW Electrify America chargers, but not the one near my house. It’s just a piss-poor...
I'm a fairly new owner (3 months) of a '22 Taycan.
Recently I was checking out the navigation, and mapped a route to my house from wherever I was on that day. (yes, of course I know how to get home; I was just playing around with it).
It attempted to route me to an offramp that hasn't existed...
I'm trying to filter for fast DC chargers. Below the radio button for "Only DC", there are several other radio buttons for various rates. They are all greyed out as shown in the attached image. The car will show me chargers, but there are several near my house that are not being shown. The...
Could this get wiped out by a future Porsche update or would it show up as some unauthorized change that would void a warranty? I’d like to know how to do it if not. :)
Thanks for your reply. Just after writing this I spotted another more recent thread where you posted a lot more info. It’s good to have your reply here for completeness.
This is the info I've been looking for. I don't have enough history with my car, but reading here that NA cars do 11kW and my '22 is down at 9kW has been bugging the crap out of me for the few months that I've owned the car. Your post confirms something has changed (before I got the car), and no...
Most of this thread is pretty old, but I'm here anyway looking for answers. I recently purchased a '22 and my manual states it can charge at 11kW. I've written elsewhere on this forum (or maybe it was reddit, I can't remember), and it seems like people have stated they reach 11kW charging rates...
