When setting timings etc only via the HV charger, can the HV charger also stop the charging, at for example 85% SOC?

Maybe slightly off topic, but does charging at home via a 7.4kW supply precondition the battery before a drive? I know you can precondition the cabin, but can it precondition the battery so that you get good economy from the getgo? Or is preconditioning of the battery ONLY in relation to pre DC...

Not seen that configuration but in the end i went for black leather but to lift it a tad also got ambient lighting and the darksiler accent pack.

I had similar concerns. Borrow a demonstrator for half a day like I did, and go and drive some of your typical roads. By the end of it, you will be threading it in and out of traffic like any another motor.

Thanks. I think black is now preferred...i have a four year old so might hold up better. Added ambient lighting though to give a lift to the inside at night.

Any views? Slate grey spec'd so far. As is the way, you rarely get to see many of the options on a Porsche beforehand!

I'm due to lock in a spec this week and I'm going to be joining the Volcano Grey club. I'm getting a CT4S and I have spec'd the black window surrounds. I have so far spec'd the aluminium roof rails with the view that they will tie in nicely with the similarly coloured standard side skirts, but...

I've optioned the 150 kW. The Superchargers would be a good back up if Instavolt Banbury (also 150 kW) are full/dead.

There seems to be a growing number of Supercharger sites open to non-Tesla cars now. One in Banbury which I may use on the way north sometime as they are 250 kW

Id probably recharge at Porsche Chester over the course of the trip so woukd hope to arrive with a fairly good SOC. I think if the weather etc allows, id be ok to get to Stafford (155 miles) then a decent charge there over lunch.
