Porsche must be aware there is a common fault. Does anyone know/think whether those on the production line are already getting revised parts to resolve the issue?
Maybe slightly off topic, but does charging at home via a 7.4kW supply precondition the battery before a drive? I know you can precondition the cabin, but can it precondition the battery so that you get good economy from the getgo? Or is preconditioning of the battery ONLY in relation to pre DC...

I had similar concerns. Borrow a demonstrator for half a day like I did, and go and drive some of your typical roads. By the end of it, you will be threading it in and out of traffic like any another motor.

Thanks. I think black is now preferred...i have a four year old so might hold up better. Added ambient lighting though to give a lift to the inside at night.

There seems to be a growing number of Supercharger sites open to non-Tesla cars now. One in Banbury which I may use on the way north sometime as they are 250 kW
Id probably recharge at Porsche Chester over the course of the trip so woukd hope to arrive with a fairly good SOC. I think if the weather etc allows, id be ok to get to Stafford (155 miles) then a decent charge there over lunch.
