  1. Porsche Finance UK

Does anyone have experience of negotiating a Business Lease down on the monthly's? I appreciate Porsche give NOTHING away for free...not even update emails... but when they quote you a lease, is that set in stone?
  2. Porsche Finance UK

Starting to consider a cancellation myself. Given the rate rises the leasing costs are higher and push the car from a c£1000 a month to a c£1300 a month...plus VAT. Forza Finance have quoted at a rate of 7.4% however, and they can get the monthly cost to c£1100 but they require a £25k deposit...
  3. Windshield Replacement - Astonished at the Price Charged -- $3,358!!

Perhaps i didn't notice any change in functionality. But it could also be the case that the design was such that it allowed for simple windscreen replacement because the manufacturer knew windscreens need replacing from time to time.
  4. Windshield Replacement - Astonished at the Price Charged -- $3,358!!

I had a windscreen replaced on a volvo some years back here in UK. Car had all the sensors and cameras for traffic sign recognition, lane keeping, etc, and the windscreen was replaced on my drive in an hour or so. No issues whatsoever. Insurance paid. In the UK, would the Taycan screen be...
  5. UK order status and delays?

That is good to know. Roughly four months means I still have a minimum of four months to wait, but that works with my current lease car. Fingers crossed for 'the' call sometime soon... I believe the interest rate on Porsche lease deals has gone up quite a lot, though it may settle a bit next...
  6. UK order status and delays?

Great stuff. When did you get your allocation out of interest?
  7. UK order status and delays?

Can anyone shed any light on delivery times once an allocation has been received?
  8. Taycan 4S Cross Turismo FOR SALE

Pretty much my spec and im only down the road. Just not sure how to fund it to benefit from the tax reliefs
  9. UK order status and delays?

Ah, if its roughly 6 months from an allocation to taking delivery I'm in trouble! My car needs to go back in June 2023. I ordered March 2022 but no allocation as yet. Maybe (hopefully) things have speeded up o late.
  10. UK order status and delays?

Lovely car. Out of interest, when did you order (i.e. put the £5000 down) and when did you get an allocation?
  11. UK order status and delays?

Enjoy it Frank, you've assisted with so many queries for so many, all we all want to hear now is that you are mega happy with it!
  12. UK order status and delays?

I believe allocations are now filtering through...
  13. Taycan and UK flooding

Well thats cleared that one up! Thanks
  14. Taycan and UK flooding

Currently (patiently) waiting on the phone call to say an allocation is available, but given the UK rain over the last few days and the sheer levels of standing water, I'm just wondering if anyone has suffered any ill effects of driving through deep puddles (or small lakes) on the UK roads? I...
  15. Who's Being Waiting The Longest For Allocation ?

Ordered CT4S in March 2022. Apparently 3rd on the list (and by list i'm told its a specific CT4S list). Hopefully an allocation is coming soon if Guildford get a few in the next batch.
  16. Salary Sacrifice - Lex

Just checking, when you say "£43,200 a year"...you meant over four years, right? Over four years, its a good price. Yes buying may be cheaper, but over four years, its only cheaper if you factor in a great sale price. If the arse falls out of the car market (unlikely, but...) then it won't be...
  17. UK order status and delays?

Has anyone started to receive any allocations from what I understand to be the Dec-Mar batch?
  18. Offered a cancelled build slot

    That's one for an accountant.
  19. Offered a cancelled build slot

My understanding is as follows - With a cash purchase in a business, you get 100% CT relief. On a £100k car, that means the whole cost can go against your profits for the current financial year and you get a £19k reduction in CT. If you bought it after April 2023, you would get £25k tax relief...
  20. Offered a cancelled build slot

The answer to the original question is entirely dependant on how you intend to acquire it. Cash, business lease, etc. If delivered before April 2023, and you pay cash, you will only benefit from 19% relief. If delivered before April 2023 and you do a business lease for example, your first...
