5k GBP to secure my slot and then when the build was submitted I had to increase it to 10% of the list price....

Well the first deposit was to get my name on the list and then Sytner require full 10% deposit on the build spec......

Put my initial deposit of £5k then had to top it up to 10%.......

Well, it's in the UK....just waiting for delivery to the dealer. So origin deposit Nov 21 - build deposit Feb 22 - build June 22 - delivery......

I have repeatedly asked for details but just get "we dont have that" from my dealer. So for me, this was real progress that he actually said it was built, I did ask if it was CP8 but have not heard back.....

Received the following this morning from my Porsche Sales Exec (after chasing)... ...Your car was completed on the 1/6/22 but it is yet to be released from the factory. I will let you know when it gets to the port and ships. Let's hope that's quick...

Always wise to have a good relationship with the Dealer Principal - always make sure I feedback irrespective if he asks for it or not.

...still don't have anything yet mine is meant to be CP8 on the 3rd of June (believe when I see/hear it) - but nothing from Porsche nor my dealer re-tracking the order...

So if the car is financed you can return the car during the cooling-off period after delivery - normally 14 days but there will be restrictions i.e. mileage covered etc. I could have done with my F Type but the car could not cover more than 1000 miles.
