I’ve been trying to activate ALK & Innodrive since picking up the car, but their red-ed out. I called PCNA & they said it could take “a few days” to sort out.
The app is doing a good job warning to have the dealer issue or update my First Aid Kit, though.
I had understood that PSP was a FoD-enabled feature, but it doesn’t show up in my Connect app list of services, either as activated or available. Has anyone actually “FoD-ed” this yet? (I’m in the US)
$2500 for 5 years for me. Like I said it was more of a “get it now/decide a little later” thing, because my kind of luck is to not get it & bend a wheel coming out of the dealership lot.
Or, keeping the insurance to term but never needing it. Which is how it’s going so far. :movember:
Update:
Got my car.
Decided to keep the 20’s
Bought the five-year Wheel & Tire to mitigate the “bent rim on the way home, dammit”.
Have 30 days to remorse myself out of it if necessary.
Thanks for the detailed replies! In my case, at the time my house was built, I had a Tesla Model S with dual on board AC chargers (an option Tesla no longer offers), so I ordered 400A service from my utility and had the electrician run a 100A sub panel into the garage for my 19.2 kW capable...
I was poking around the Suncoast site looking for Taycan stuff, and happened across their product page for the PMCC. This caught my eye:
Max Power: 9.6 kW - 19.2 kW (future)
So I guess that means that the PMCC is capable of delivering up to 19.2 kW, even though (the current) Taycan will only...
Sure, there are many people who may prefer to just take their car to the dealer periodically and have them handle it all. For a marque like Porsche, those folks may consider $770 to be a reasonable price. But for folks that are comfortable doing some level of maintenance, it’s useful to know...
Not no much for battery/drive motor issues, but for services like brakes, alignment, etc.?
I called the indie where I bring my 718, they said (not surprisingly) they haven’t seen a Taycan yet, but when the time comes they’d be “willing to try”.
Well, given that I’ll be a ways out before...
Rather than revive this year-old thread, I wanted to ask for opinions/experiences of 19” vs 20”, now that folks have another year of driving under their (steel) belts.
My situation is I’m taking delivery of an off the lot RWD car with 20” Turbo Aero wheels. I would’ve preferred 19”‘; while I...
I did a search for quickjack and could only come up with this thread: https://www.taycanforum.com/taycan-4s-on-lowering-links-and-spacers/
Anyone else have one to use on their Taycan? I have the 5000-SLX; based on the messages in the above thread it sounds like it’ll work, but always...
Thanks for all the replies & clarifications. Good to know that I don’t need Yet Another Gateway on my home network.
From what I’ve seen with the Connect App, I already know that it won’t be the same UX as the Tesla app. I’m ok with minimum viable product at this point, as long as its MY idea of...
