Coming from Tesla, I’m used to getting a lot of telematics info/remote control capabilities via the Tesla app. Teslas have a M2M interface that communicates with “the cloud” (not really a fan of that term) so I can see at a glance my SOC, enable/stop charging, lock/unlock/remote “start”, etc...
I was actually wondering if anyone would be interested in my 20” Turbo Aero wheels that are coming on my car so I can get the standard 19”‘wheels. I don’t think it changes the aesthetics for the worse, and I’d prefer the better ride and resiliency of the smaller wheels as well as the lower cost...
So yesterday during my “check-ectomy” visit with Finance Manager, he writes “1 2 3 4 5 6” on a sheet of paper, then crosses out 3 & 5. He says, “Normally, there are six services, but with this car, there’s only 4. The first one is free. We’re not sure what’s going to be part of the second...
One other comparison to Tesla...if this were a Tesla forum, by now @Zee would’ve been branded as a troll or a “short” for the lack of his fanatical devotion to the brand.
I think it will be a refreshing experience to once again have a car forum that’s just about cars vs “cars with an agenda”.

My dealer is trading with a nearby dealer to obtain my car. The salesman mentioned several times that my delivery could be delayed by a day or so, if they find it needs a “software update” after they receive it.

Taking delivery of my RWD the first week of May. Previous ownership experience with the LEAF & Tesla Model S & Model 3. I also have a Boxster, so now looking forward to the Porsche experience in my daily driver!
