Agreed, preferably with people that actually drive cars regularly. A mix of people who park said cars on the street, in lots/car parks and garages would be ideal.
Tesla’s had their share of nagging problems too, one notable one being their rain sensing (or not) wipers. Not sure if they ever...
That usually works but once or twice I’ve had to come off of the brake pedal ever so briefly to get it to HOLD. Maybe my technique just needs some work. ?
Unless I know I’m not going to be driving the Taycan, I usually have the fob in my pocket. The Taycan lives in our attached garage. With increasing freqency, I’m finding the funk popped when I go out to the garage. I’m also finding the fob to be in “lock” mode (red transmit indicator flashing)...
So I just got this from Vodaphone…
Dear Customer,
On behalf of Porsche, we are delighted to inform you that a new app is currently being developed that will soon be available in the App Store and in the Google Play Store.
The new app will combine the services of several already existing...
The fun CarPlay volume thing I have is the Google maps nav volume (sometimes/usually) isn’t adjustable via the scroll wheel. This typically happens when the Google maps volume is either too low or too LOUD.
It seems like it also has some kind of codec dissonance…sometimes the nav is very clear...

So do you have to enable P&C in the car & on the Charging app, just the car, just the app, some other combination…??
I haven’t need to charge on the road yet, but I’m thinking this weekend I should go to the nearest EA location & try it out to see what happens. Supercharging with the Tesla was...
It’s always been that way for me, though I’m not a fan of how it creeps up to stop signs.
Maybe they’ll be a software update to fix it.
…Along with one for the comfort access door handles.
…And the Park Assist Unavailable message.
…And the Matrix headlights.
Not to mention the upper body workout you get muscling them around the garage, followed by the great stretching session maneuvering them to be both lined up under the jack points and parallel to each other. :muscle:
I think it’s generally OK. I don’t like the “silent disengagement” behavior mentioned above, but I do like that it doesn’t RIP the steering wheel out of your hands like my M3 did.
However I will say that I’m driving a rented Golf this week and I think the lane keeping on that is superior to...
Need to get some media coverage on this. “Porsche Taycan randomly makes you wait 20 minutes before it will let you drive it” sounds like a damming enough title that might goad them into action.
