note that this is a new to me taycan (my2022). came to drive this morning and it has been the first time it's rained since I bought it last week, noticed that all the water droplets on the panoramic roof were a weird orangey red colour.
apparently it had autoglym lifeshine ceramic coating put...
ah ok yes I meant advanced. well it was on and not working. but it is now, now that I've got the car in my name and I can sign into the PSM. must be something to do with registering the key or something :-) thanks for the reply
yeah I only registered it with Porsche today and they told me over the phone that this recall was outstanding. I might just hold off until the other one is out then as I don't really want to go twice in a short period of time .
i don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but I have comfort access and the handles pop out if i touch the handles, but i have enhanced comfort enabled and it still requires me to touch them before it does anything. it isn't doing anything being "close" to the car at all.
any thoughts...
thanks for the kind offer but you're in america, and it really wouldn't be worth the postage to get them over to the UK. I can likely survive with the online/pdf version for now.
Why is it that some people have had it OTA and some have to trek all the way to a service centre to do it? Great consistency, Porsche.
Is the update even really worth bothering with or can it wait until a more pressing reason to go to a OPC? Really can't be arsed with a 3 hour round trip...
so, 4 months later, has noone managed to get any confirmation or anything more than a vague rumour about this coming to "gen1" taycans? given the systems are the same hardware and there has been precious little updates since the original release, its objectively rude to not give any further...
lol great. my last 911 had a decent manual so I would have hoped it was much the same. I'll try to look on the app then (not got it verified etc yet). but accessing the "help" in-car is pretty unusable really
hi all. I've read that you can use an app called car scanner with an OBD2 dongle to read it but my OBD2 dongle doesn't seem to connect to the Taycans ecu.
I've got a foxwell scanner which has the Porsche stuff on it , and I've updated and checked and it connects fine and gives me a whole...
because all mine came with was a billion page booklet for the Porsche charger which didn't even come with my car anyway!?.
anyone got a pdf copy of the important ones they could link me to/send me please?
oh right, so they've not updated much in like 2 years :\ that sounds.... pretty unreasonable :( i hear they do OTA stuff but its only ever really minor stuff. (says i'm up to date in the car dash, although i'm not yet able to sign into connect for some reason, not sure it needs that to be...
Hi all, I took delivery yesterday of a lovely new (to me) 2021 Turbo. I'm looking through the software versions and its telling me I'm on the attached versions.
I'm struggling to find latest versions anywhere on the internet other than something about J1.2 which it seems is only for bloody...
