nah... not outside of America. most people (in the UK at least, probably Europe too) think people driving around in huge gas guzzlers are twats. not that the drivers are self aware enough to care though.
well the car should tell you it's got not enough power and effectively shut down. the percentage difference is basically like that of your old ICE cars having a few miles of "reserve" to get you home. it's been discussed in this thread before a few times I think
well I don't think it necessitates a new thread per release. an update of the OP and thread title if possible would suffice. hell there's an update button in the app if you want to check if it's out yet
pretty much a non-article, sounds like anti EV propaganda.
600kw batteries in a car is frankly not going to happen anytime in the next 20 years. maybe for trucks and such vehicles.
also , yes, obviously you wouldn't charge that in 5mins, you couldn't even charge existing battery sizes in 5...
I'm not sure.
There are certainly a few people on here who come across as arrogant in how they write, it might be based on their country of origin though (yanks have less of an excuse ;)).
I do find that in general people are (as already mentioned) much kinder/respectful of Porsches than the...
mate, we're all waiting for this (and access to the PSM update files) Cris is a very busy guy, and it doesn't help getting asked all the time about ETA's. It'll come when it comes and I'm sure he'll update the original post too with the new details.
$100 for a water bottle TOP?!?!? you lot are insane and have more money than sense!
eek, on top of the $50 for the specific water bottle too. and you don't even get the porsche logo , so thats probably another $75 on top.
pointless :like:
Yeah, well you live and learn. The car came with a years worth of extended warranty and it seemed fine from looking through all of that smallprint. I did not expect, if it was a "known fault" for porsche to be as shite as they are being about not actually sorting it under goodwill, or their...
has anyone actually got them done under "good will"? i have been told from someone who works in the industry (audi) that dealers have a "good will matrix" system which they work through and see if its something that hq would sign off on to do free of charge.
i'm having zero luck with my...
I get that English may well not be your first language, but "seems" in this context is the correct word to use. it seems like it worked correctly. from what he can tell all the connectivity and values presented back looked valid. "seems" seems to be the right choice of word.
what dealership is that? don't you have any other options? tbh I'd be more than a little annoyed with an attitude like that from my dealer and if I had zero other choice of alternatives, would be writing a stern letter to Porsche themselves
No. As he has already said, it needs a ethernet based cable as they are the easiest to work with, and most compatible.
They're about £5 so hardly going to break the bank
