I have done something similar. I have the diamond button programmed to it on the instrument screen. I always turn it off at night because I feel the need to have full view of the road at night. I think I worry about hazards on the road at night. But I really benefit from the data during the day.

I am also like the OP who likes to keep my car stock but all this chatter made me curious. Has anyone one in California (or USA) ordered through their website and received it? Curious how much it costed them direct from their site instead of Amazon. After I entered my CA address in the site...

FWIW, I paid 10% for my custom build when I signed the contract … but “non-refundable” is illegal in CA so I could have walked away from it if I wanted to. I did not, of course.

Maybe I should clarify… thank you for the detailed replies but I am not asking how much driving range you get. I understand that depends on my driving style. I am asking what range is projected by the car when charge state hits 100%
