Yes I'd bet the farm we'll see S and GTS versions. There's too much $ left on the table not introducing those badges. Besides the usual performance upgrades they'll feature larger capacity batteries and better range.
Way overdone but I'd love to see a 2 door sports coupe Taycan instead of making EV versions of the Cayman or 911. They should keep those hybrid while a whole Taycan lineup features full EV models of different variants.
Nice spotting on the stunning Stelvio! Surprised they weren't testing against latest gen P90D. But hey if the Taycan can accelerate like the P85D and handle and look better, I'm not complaining :)
That's an interesting tidbit I read in the other thread about the Taycan Targa coming. I'd actually love to see Porsche use the "Taycan" name as their EV sub-brand. Now that we know the Taycan will already have 3 variants (Taycan, Taycan Wagon, Taycan Targa), why not also roll out a a mid-size...
Probably to camouflage the final look? Just like the rest of the camouflage still on the car. I haven't seen any spy pics from anywhere between NJ and CA so may mean that they're test shipping them.
That's a sweet looking model. So now we'll have the regular Taycan, Taycan Targa and Taycan Wagon. Nice little lineup forming.
Funny they keep putting fake exhaust tips on all the Taycan prototypes. You can even tell there's nothing but plastic underneath the "tips" :)
Woah these are sweet. Give me the Carmine Red one in GTS form please!
This is stunning and I hope Porsche offers Guards or Carmine Red right off the bat.
Any of you guys have a Taycan deposit placed yet? Thinking of stopping by closest dealer to drop down a deposit. Anyone happen to know how deep the waitlist is at Porsche Wallingford?
I've seen estimates of $85k starting price, just like the Panamera. Of course with options and packages it will go up quickly from there. That would be $10k above what the most basic Model S starts at, but the basic Taycan model should have better specs and performance than the basic Model S.
Gorgeous screen. Love the super widescreen ratio and looks wider than anything I've seen from any manufacturer. As OLED tech comes down in price I hope we start seeing it be used for digital gauge displays. The black backgrounds still show up as dark gray.
