You will be happy with the BOSE, it’s not bad. It’s just that the non-BOSE that comes as standard on the non-Turbo Taycans is really bad. Immediately noticeably bad, and not worth a car that price. But with the BOSE, you’ll be fine!
I did not make that assumption. My candidate cars were over 500 miles away. I skipped the one with the smoking package, and went through the process with the one without.
Was it possible that after taking the flight down, I had realized that the car had been smoked in after all (despite asking...
I really think you are overthinking this. They don’t take control away from you just as little as the actual environment you’re driving in takes control away from you. You need to adapt to wind and inclines anyway, this is no different. When you drive up a hill and want to slow down, you don’t...
This other car has BOSE, right? You don’t need to go for Burmester (it’s rare because it’s super expensive), but unless you don’t care about listening to music at all, the standard sound system is not good. However, I think BOSE may be part of the base package on the Turbo? Or maybe just on...
I have the 19.2kW and I don’t use it. Charging the car overnight, 9.6kW works out very well for me. When charging out and about, it’s all DC charging between 50kW and 270kW… I’ve used AC chargers outside of home at hotels overnight and in the work parking lot, but they were actually less than 9.2kW.
Yeah, I consider this a well specced car otherwise, except for the lack of Adaptive Cruise Control. Some people don't care, but if you want it, I would not compromise on that. It cannot be added afterwards, and you'll be stuck with a car that does not do ACC whenever you think "ACC would be nice...
Looks relatively solid... except it does not seem to have ACC? Or is that part of one of the packages? For me personally, that would be a deal breaker.
FWIW, I've never heard that the dealer adds on anything on a used car. There are only very few options which are FOD (function on demand...
It's well known (although somewhat disputed), that Planck tried to discourage Einstein from working on General Relativity. "Therein lies madness", essentially.
That's all I'm going to say about figuring out the correct tire pressure.
Yeah, I also tilt my head a little to see it clearer. Rotating the lenses, at least fully, would not have the best effect: Sunglasses block horizontally polarized light, since that’s what most specularly reflected light is. Rotating the lenses would let the “wrong” light through, except for the...
Does leasing ever make sense, financially? If I understand right, the only way that leasing could make sense is if you expect the car to have significantly lost its value, after the leasing ends. If the lease giver thought that was a chance, they would price it into the lease.
So that leaves...
I like the HUD so much, that it makes me sad that my polarized sunglasses dim it severely. Most of the time, it still works out that I'm able to see it, but any of the blue lettering (mostly the distance to next turn for navigation instructions) can be really hard to see...
I'm still undecided...
Ah yeah, I had a similar experience. ~500 miles after getting the car, though that was in California, and the last leg before checking into the hotel at about midpoint was similarly tight. By the end of it, I had range mode on and was monitoring.
It got way worse when I arrived at the...
Oh yeah, that's the most common cause of final inspection failure, along with taking out the entire Taycan production street that is traditionally behind the paper thin dyno wall.
Alternatively, maybe the factory owner's son was looking for a vehicle with just your spec, and it's not like you...
Yes, apparently for orders in Germany at least, they also say that the issue with delivery of new heaters was resolved by April.
I don't know if there are any ripple effects for the rest of the worlds (but they're all built in Germany anyway, or aren't they?), but it's probably something else...
I'd take this with a metric truckload of salt. I'm not saying that it either cannot be true, or conversely that it must be true, just that either way it's an extraordinary claim, requiring extraordinary evidence.
Honestly, for now I'd just ignore this and regard it the same as fan fiction.
Wildest speculation, but in the German forums people are apparently had been waiting for their new Taycans because they got a new, different heater installed.
