Jealous when I see this. I’m getting 320km max even in this mild weather. ST GTS MY23 with 35k Km. The car is actually in for service today, and they gave me 911 loaner. Seeing 850 range when I started it made me pause :) Glad to give it back tomorrow though, I’m already tired of the noise haha.

I also had a flat battery last week. Very similar experience: parked to charge the car, plugged in the charger and walked away. Then got a call from the alarm center that my car was reporting being stolen. Of course it was still sitting where I left it, completely dead. Porsche assist got it...

Thanks! We've already booked our ferries as we'd heard the same. I'm curious, why do you say not to rely on the chargers at the ferry terminals? That's exactly what we were planning to do as especially on the islands they are often the only 'fast' chargers available.

I think this only applies to gen 1 models. The newer ones have a completely different battery.

AFAIK to inform you when you have faulty battery cells before your car catches fire.

True, you can’t control battery heating. But the car certainly does influence battery temp, and afaik really cold batteries are inefficient and the car will heat it up as needed (and even more to prepare for charging stops).

I see the same, and the AC seem to be to blame (at least in part). Perhaps a super cold battery that needs to be warmed up a bit also contributes. I am expecting and hoping this to improve when it gets warmer (I only have my Taycan since November)

Can I just say -- as a casual lurker occasionally reading up on this thread out of curiosity -- that I'm incredibly impressed with your efforts to get this car going. And equally of the support your getting from this community. I really hope you pull it off.

In the end my dealer fixed the issue within a week (kudos to them). The final bill was around 7k (22kwh charger). Glad I was still under warranty!

Thanks - and too bad! Your hack to navigate somewhere else is clever, but I'm not sure I look forward to navigating to one destination with PCM (random charger) and another one (tesla charger) with Maps. If that even works.
