Got to say, I think the porker charge rate is just too clever and defeats purpose. My etron charges at 150kwh right up to 80%. Much more useful in normal life that the Porsche cycle

So it was the charger unit. It failed and was replaced last year. New unit failed as well. It was the 22kw charging unit that was an optional extra. they have replaced the unit but downgraded it to the 11kw version and applied 12V update. Let’s see how this goes

TBH a bit shocked by this. So few J2’s have this specced; apparently not enough usage. There were charging £730 each for ALK and innodrive. No wonder. It’s a £900 option FFS. anyway, I’m kinda shocked by this.

So if I have a J1 GTS with standard matrix LED lights> changing to J2 GTS will give me the same light package? I’m actually really happy with the J1 lights on the GTS

My j1.1 charges nice and quick till 50% then throttles down to 100kw - which is so slow. Really annoying especially if you try and do quick top ups. Have an Eton that does 150kw from start right up to 80%. So much better I think Porsche really messed up the charging philosophy
