Just looking for a general opinion - not legal advice.
Driving on M25; are in adaptive cruise. Monitors speed limited and adjusts. Works beautifully.
I am doing 70; overhead signage changes speed to 50mph about 200m infront. I am in auto mode, fully expecting car to detect and reduce speed to...
the annual payment for routine features like remote heating is a joke and part reason residuals are abysmal, who wants a car that's a financial noose around your neck.
can you just do that? FSH is essential to maintain warranty. Can they insist that it must be done to maintain FSH? I was going to ask them if it could be removed as the ac is working to perfection
Got a quote for my first service on a GTS. Cost was £1042! Only done 14k miles.
Within this was £370+VAT for an AC service. Questioned it and was told its needed. Nuts
I used ionity at a M20 service station recently. The one near Leeds castle. the chargers are based at a petrol station. THe station has signes about limited parking for 30min but when I spoke to the attendant they said it didnt apply to EV charging. 30min is not enough at all. Poor show on Hilton
Is there any difference in early cars (4S) with performance Battery Plus selected as an option vs a newer car where Performance battery plus was a standard feature.
as in would it have all the latest battery features in terms of performance, charge speed, bhp etc
a bit of digging suggests it might be due to the performance battery plus. Those without are 544 bhp and those with seem to have 598 bhp. I didnt know the battery plus had different performance characteristics aside from better range
I'm looking at Gen1.2 Taycans. I seem to be getting a brand new 4S but the bhp is being recorded as 544bhp with overboost and max power of 462 bhp.
However I was told it has 598 bhp.
I cannot figure this out.
Looking on second hand tacyans, I can see some early ones had 544bhp and not 598bhp...
gutted. I swap my J1.1 for 1.2 this week. Sadly will have to say goodbye to the PCS 30p deal (this still had 1.5y to run). Will be on the new charging service which is quite dear
really interesting points. Bitten the bullet. Will report back in due course. 4S ST with HD matrix lights, 21 RS spyders, chromo, thermal insulated privacy etc
Keen to have comments from anyone who had a gen1 GTS and has moved to a Gen2 4S.
im considering this but wanna know whether folk have done the same and regretted it?
im aware a GTS has a lot of sporty bits as standard and feels very planted on the road. Launch control is a gimmick but scary...
while I agree with T is a cracker, its not something I would buy again based on multiple 12V failures and a failure of the charging module. I just don't thin the joy is Wirth the pain.
my own view. My local dealer will sub out body work. I know which one they use. I would go there and get a cash price. Will be as good as new.
An insurance claim = declaring on every insurance policy you have on each car you own or are insured on. Believe me, the premiums will go up...
