I’m on Octopus Go, same as the OP, and this is exactly what I do.

I’m in the UK and obviously there are differences, but coming up to having a 4S+ for two years and it appears I could sell it for about £5,000 (USD5,800) less than I originally paid (that’s just the figure I get online from a company I’ve used to sell cars before - on both previous occasions I...
I’ve not been able to resolve this with Apple CarPlay either. The best workaround I’ve found is to set the instrument cluster quick access button to change the audio source, so when CarPlay starts I press it twice to get back to the radio. I don’t use Spotify but presume it would similarly help.
I’ll be spending a lot of time in central Birmingham over the coming months and looking for secure parking found this: https://www.thecube.co.uk/park/
It’s fully automated (take a look at the video!) and looks ideal, does anyone have any experience here or somewhere similar?
I went for surround view to ”protect my investment” and avoid accidental dings on the car from bollards etc that you can’t easily see when manoeuvring. I’ve found it very helpful and would definitely choose it again.
General consensus isn’t very favourable then! It works well enough for me to avoid looking down at the lower screen to change temperature etc., but I agree for voice control it’s not a patch on Siri.
Bsclwilly - thanks for the list of voice commands. Nothing much came up when I did a search...
I always thought voice control was just a gimmick, but often use it now - mostly for climate control when I don’t want to look away from the road. I’m curious to know if voice control is widely used, but also more specifically, does anyone know what the ”Short Dialogue“ commands are? It’s an...
I picked an Ohme after going around this loop 18 months ago before taking delivery. However, trying to use it to control the charging results in errors and to avoid this I control everything through the car instead - take a look at this thread...
I’m on the same tariff and that’s exactly what I do - it makes the Taycan so cheap to run!
To get the Octopus Go tariff you have to sign up to one of their standard tariffs first and then switch, but I found it very quick and easy.
Interesting article thanks, but not my cup of tea. A mode to slow it down doesn’t strike me as new - isn’t that the same as having “sport” mode on by default and then switching it off?
I recommend you check with your standard motor insurance provider as they may well include some cover when the car is brand new - my insurance with DirectLine did for the first year, so I then waited until the car was nearly a year old and took out specific gap insurance (with ALA) for a further...
I use the medium size Henry Wag material create for my cocker spaniel, which I just put on the back seat (not folded down) with a webbing strap securing it to the seat belt and a blanket underneath to level it up a bit...
