I’m with you on the nagging! Wish we could leave that turned off. It will get resolved soon enough, unless the new wheel delivery goes on a while. And as good as everyone has been, it doesn’t stop that P-O-ed feeling. Should not have happened.

My Taycan Turbo made it to Davisville 6/30, where it sat until it was finally delivered to my dealer on Saturday 7/18. The Tech that does Taycans happened to be off Saturday (poor guys have to work some Saturdays) so it was agreed the car would be ready for delivery around noon on Monday...

I’m talking about the lettering on the metal plate of the receptacle which is hidden by the receptacle cover. But the lettering on the phenolic piece is upside down. To remove all confusion, here is a picture of it. So the ground pin is down.

I used a Leviton and the labeling on it is right side up. But I checked it before I screwed it to the box.

Now you see it. Now you don’t. The intruding charger has taken away a little utility of the work table so I may relocate the table.

Sure, no problem. Only issue I ran in to was the screws provided were not long enough to use the spacer, so it took another trip to HD for some longer stainless lag screws. Perhaps I was shorted a longer set of screws from Porsche.

So I installed the charger. Already had bought 6/3 NM-B from eBay, then went to Home Depot for the other stuff I needed. 5 hours later here’s the end result:

Well....it’s going in for PPF and ceramic on Wednesday so I have a small window to enjoy it before it’s down for 2 days. But I plan to drive the snot out of it before Wednesday!

After 2 1/2 weeks sitting at the port of Davisville, RI, my Taycan Turbo finally showed up today! The only trained Taycan Tech is off today so it will be Monday before I can pick it up. But as everyone can imagine I am STOKED!! Here are a few pictures in the meantime.

Oh, I definitely would have slit my wrists by now!
