My car is waiting to be shipped from Emden next week but has the same stop delivery. This is was my SA sent me about it. Looks to be a quick fix.

Just read the same article and was equally a bit baffled.
Great for the RWD if the numbers are repeatable. It definitely captures my experience test driving a RWD when deciding to go from my 4S sedan to a CT4. Still a blast to drive and at cruising speeds you definitely feel like there's...
I guess it depends on the model. I can definitely tell the difference in a GT3 or Turbo 911 to a base 911, although I guess to 99% of people on the road it's all the same thing.
Not a bad thing in any circumstance. All gorgeous vehicles.
Length of ownership probably doesn't matter as much as miles driven and charging habits.
Unless someone is knocking on close to 50k miles driven, I doubt we see much degradation. Even if someone charges to 100% everyday, with a huge chunk of the battery being roped off, I can't see it being a...
Looks solid.
My only criticism is with Porsche in that a 210k vehicle looks identical to entry level Taycan costing less than half as much.
Are there any other car companies that have such staggering price differences across a single vehicle?
People are now receiving their 2022 vehicles before several have gotten their 21s.
You have to remember with these highly customizable cars, certain build options will likely be delayed more so than others.
Be prepared for an inferior software experience if coming from a Tesla.
That said, I like ALK. I have a 40 mile one way interstate commute and am also someone that likes to be in control most of the time. ALK I find does a better job of helping you keep the lane without a very heavy hand like...
I've never been a wagon guy and took a 4S sedan a little over a year ago thinking I would never have any interest in the CT.
That all changed once the CT was officially released earlier this year, and here I am a month away from delivery of my CT4.
I just personally think the CT is a more...
I buy into that theory. My 22 CT4 completed production last week and arrived at Emden this week. It has a planned departure next week. My sales associate said there were no open campaigns pending for the car. Holding my breath until it's on the boat and heading to the dealer, but so far so...
These are videos promoted by Porsche. I don't really think they are saying this is something you should be doing with any regularity, but rather showing you the capability of the car should you find yourself in a sticky situation.
It's actually really cool to see how smart and adaptive the...
I love their EV videos. The presenter is a great EV enthusiast and they do great road trip and real world range tests.
His Taycan Cannonball is a fun watch.
EQS is definitely a welcome edition to the space. Model S owners looking for more luxury will be in for a treat.
The exterior is definitely not pleasing to the eye. It's not ugly, but it doesn't make you smile everytime you look at it, like a Taycan does.
Who knows. They're rolling out some beta testing in Europe and he's stated his goal is by the end of the year, which in Tesla speak is probably a year and a half later.
I optioned mine specifically for that reason. A fairly minimal cost to future proof the car. If and when tesla chargers open...
Anyone out there with am updated shipping schedule from Emden for October?
My CT4 arrived at the port 2 days ago and am curious what boats it might be on. TYD says it will be on a vessel by 10/15.
I think even my 4S is too much as a daily. I hardly find myself needing any of the power lurking within.
That said, if I were in your shoes I would probably take the TTS.
RWD in this scenario all day. If you weren't going to daily and keep a garage queen, the 4S might be better, but you'll miss the creature comforts you're sacrificing for the extra speed.
I'm actually coming down from a 4S to a CT4 and I made that decision by test driving a well equipped RWD...
Actually West Texas.
Before my wife sold her X, we did a road trip to San Antonio and we had 2 wait at two stops there and back. One because 4/8 stalls were down for repair, and one in Van Horn Texas was just crowded for some strange reason.
That said, you're right. The Tesla network is...
