I dont think it should be a problem. I have a 4S sedan and have a 6 year old and new born, and the little ones have plenty of space back there.
I'm switching over to a CT4 shortly, specifically for the added practicality so it will only get better for them. The CT was meant to be toured...
For what it's worth, I think PCM has been having issues for the last few days. It has been cutting in and out on my wife's Cayenne and my Taycan. I reset it, start from scratch and it won't work, and then out of nowhere a few hours later, it functions fine.
CT is actually a better value for the money. You get the larger battery, air suspension, and all wheel drive included as standard. Not to mention the added practicality, specifically for your parents needs since it will have more storage and sits a bit higher.
The battery and suspension are...
I'm right there with you. I started this way when I drive my wife's Cayenne Hybrid, but ultimately got over it and press the boost button as I please or put it in sport/sport+ when I want the extra juice. The engine transitions are some seamless, even though it uses fuel, it's minimal, and...
I must be lucky. My SA emails and usually calls me every week or so to give me an update on his end and it's nice to compare with the TYD. He had my VIN before it showed up on TYD, so that was useful.
With so few cars on the lot I'm sure they're pretty anxious to get these cars in and sold...
Color, wheels, and interior are very personal, so go buckwild on something you love. You can't go wrong if it's something that makes you happy and smile every time you look at it.
If performance isn't your top priority, I would prioritize comfort. Premium pack with matrix lights and massaging...
I wouldn't stress that. My SA told me about it a week ago and only after I asked him to check. I bet your car has had it for a while and they just bothered checking yesterday.
It's hard for me to think of a use case for any situation that all 3 seats are usable. It's not so much about the added head room in the CT as it is the seat width for the middle person. Honestly, aesthetics are the only reason I see to add the extra seat.
If you have smaller kids, they sit...
What is it with some women that insist on the extra seats that will almost never get used? My wife and your wife should meet for drinks.
We just got rid of my wife's Model X with the 6 seat configuration a couple of months back, and this was no joke her biggest concern. I fortunately talked...
Not surprising, we could see the writing on the wall coming for a while now. Sport car performance and attractive looks with a lot more added practicality compared to owning a 911.
It likely helps that a lot of Taycan buyers are non traditional or first time Porsche buyers that wanted...
That might also line up with how many 2022 models have been made and are en route to the US since it seems to be unique to our country.
My SA just told me part of the issue for 2022 models in the US is that the official sale date isn't until November, and it won't receive EPA certification...
Yup for all the faults of EA, I've found their customer service is quick to answer and responsive. It is sort of ridiculous how many times rebooting their chargers is all it takes to get them to work.
Mine has been bouncing everywhere. Just got onto a boat that will lead to Houston, initial delivery 11/12. Then 11/19. This week when it got on the boat it bumped to 11/5 and randomly tonight it switched to 11/26 for a few hours before going back to 11/12.
Who knows. Even Tesla initially recommended charging to 80 or 85% and then Elon said 90% was okay.
If anything, we have mostly learned that these batteries last much longer than anyone first projected. If you had told some folks a decade ago that there would still be plenty of early Model S...
That def makes sense. Pretty much the reason we got out of my wife's Model X and now she drives a Cayenne E-Hybrid. Mostly pure EV driving for her day to day but we also have the road trip flexbility if we are travelling somewhere chargers are limited or questionable.
Honestly, not really...
Just curious though what the difference 251 miles of range vs 220 mile range (or even 180) means for an EV on a road trip. With either range, you're still likely making the same charging stops every 100-150 miles, and the car with the lower battery will charge a bit faster to start. The...
I'm well aware tTesla holds back battery capacity. As you mentioned, this has been known for some time. My comment was more to the point that early Tesla's that used a lot of super charging saw reduced battery capacity and state of charge faster than folks that mostly charged at home...
