Quite a few chargers in shopping car parks are 3 phase and capable of 22kW. In some places this would be extremely useful but I'm tight and it was not an option worth the money for my use, though it was mildly irritating not to be able to benefit from it whilst it was free in a local car park...

I think the old advice to use the engine for braking originated from when drum brakes were very prone to overheat and fail going down hills. It made sense. I still use engine braking on hills in ICE cars.
