I am quite sure you are right. The torque control potential of an electric motor is both faster and more precise than is possible with an IC engine, particularly diesel which has no spark cut/timing potential to quickly respond.

They paint shells in batches of colour. Your delivery time will have been linked to when the line was making the first colour you chose. When you changed they would have to move to the next batch of the new colour, you are lucky it is only a week IME!
